I have a "grand dog" named Bella that is 6 years old and have never thought about purchasing Pet Insurance for her. 2 of a friends dogs were in her backyard and were bit by a snake creating a lot of medical expense at an Emergency Clinic. I then decided to seek the best option for Pet Insurance for Bella and chose Healthy Paws which was the best decision I have ever made. This was in 2015 and Bella had to have surgery on her back leg last year (with PT for 8 weeks) and again on both legs this year. As soon as I sent the claim to Healthy Paws within a week my claim had been processed and the check was on the way. Health Insurance for my family does not process that fast!!!! Also I always receive a follow up inquiring as to how Bella is doing and that the Healthy Paws Team send her "hugs". Bella is a very important member of my family and we want only the very best of care for her. I cannot express how wonderful the Healthy Paws Team has been and I would highly recommend this coverage for your pet.

We have two policies for our Papillions. Over the past 7 years we have submitted numerous claims and relied on our policies to reimburse us for covered illnesses and injuries. Adopting a pet brings with it the responsibility of providing good medical care which, as we all know, can be very expensive. I used to think pet insurance was not a good investment. Then I had a cat with cancer. It took me three years to pay off the $3,500 bill. Ever since then I have had all my pets insured. When another one of my cats had inflammatory bowel disease I was able to provide her with excellent care knowing that I would have some help with her medical expenses. Recently I took my 9-year-old cat, Charlie, to find out that he had a UTI. The blood tests, urine samples, and antibiotics were costly. In addition, while he was there he was found to be in need of dental treatment which included extractions. The money for all his treatment was not in my budget, but was necessary to restore him to the healthy cat he has always been. I knew I would receive help with those expenses and that was a very good thing when two weeks later my other cat had to be treated for an eye infection. I have had my cats and dogs insured through ASPCA for a number of years. Although I have been lucky enough for most of my animals to be healthy and need only regular preventive care, the few times when more care was needed it has been a great relief to know that I could provide whatever was needed. My claims have always been handled quickly and the people I have spoken to at ASPCA have all been wonderful, especially when humane euthanasia was necessary. I will continue to insure my fur babies through ASPCA.
