Nationwide provides excellent customer service. The explanation of benefits and claim payments are very clear and specific. Nationwide is quick to provide updates on my claims and processing status. Excellent insurance.

Practical and great customer service
I called to address a claim that was determined to be a duplicate. I knew this call may take awhile. However, as soon as i explained my reasons to Joey, he quickly assesed the issue, confirmed with the claim people what he believes is what happened and came back to me and just said it was thier fault and he will fix it and have the claim approved and reimbursed. My call took less than 5 minutes - now thats customer service. I did not have to stay on a long hold or defend my reasons...Thank you Joey!

This year insurance has been a wash; other years at a loss.
the cost of insurance has gone from $42 per month to over $100 per month in 3 years. Most things are not covered, but that is hard to tell with the copious amounts of exclusions listed, along with wording your vet may not use. Not sure if it's worth continuing.

Very Consistent in Processing Claims Expeditiously!
I have had two dogs covered by VPI and then Nationwide and I believe Nationwide's claims process is very proficient and easy to use. The claims and reimbursement are processed very expeditiously! Very satisfied with coverage - just wish the annual fees didn't go up so high when the dog gets older.

Best Pet Insurance Program Available
We have two lovable mutts insured with Nationwide, who also insures our home and vehicles, and we absolutely couldn’t be more pleased with the service we’ve received through the years from this company.
