They are great to work with. No hassling over what is or is not covered, they cover everything they say they will. They are easy to contact if you have questions, and are very friendly and helpful. Our dogs are 10, and have each had a LOT of medical issues, ASPCA has been a lifesaver for us, regarding the medical expenses.

A good friend has a Boxer that had a serious leg injury from a fall in the ice a few years ago that cost him thousands of dollars and convinced me to buy Pet Insurance. I chose Trupanion, a company that was recommended by 2 Veterinarians. A number of months later, my dog suffered a torn ACL which was problematic but didn't require surgery. It did require multiple x-rays and visits to a couple of Vets for evaluation plus regular pain meds and injections to relieve inflammation. Gunner is mostly OK but has to be careful to not overextend or over-exercise. Trupanion has reimbursed me regularly for vet visits to keep track of his joints and stay ahead of problems. I highly recommend Trupanion for your pet because we have a responsibility to care for our animals as we do for our children.

For the last two years I have found Nationwide to be helpful and stress reducing. But the fact is the the price insurance is increasing astronomically and you have now priced me out of your insurance.

Any time I have called to ask a question...they have answered it...Claims have always been paid promptly...

We have been satisfied with the wellness portion, not sure why spaying and neutering are not part of coverage, also certain breeds are more partial to bloat, why no coverage for gastropexy.
