I have a 10 year old, black and white Tuxedo Cat, named Tuxey. When I was looking for the best pet insurance for him, several years ago, I was very impressed with the reviews, Healthy Paws received. I chose Healthy Paws, after looking at many other pet insurance companies and I am so glad I did. They are an AWESOME company! They have different plans, from which you can choose, that you feel is best for your pet. You can choose your coverage and deductible. They have a range of different costs, for coverage, depending on the kind of coverage , you want.One thing that I like, is the one time yearly deductible.. A lot of pet insurance companies, have a deductible for each claim, filed for sickness or injury. I like paying the deductible, just once per year and then I have my 90% coverage on Tuxey. Each time, I have filed a claim, the customer service is outstanding. It is easy to file a claim and they are always very prompt, in handling it. They always keep me informed, by e-mail, regarding the status of my claim and after completed, they inform me, exactly what is covered, what is not and the amount, I am to be reimbursed. They are very efficient. And very importantly, every one of the customer care representatives, with whom I have spoken, has been very courteous, enthusiastic and always seem genuinely concerned about how Tuxey is doing. I appreciate that.They all have compassion and love for pets and that is very evident. They are sincere and like a family. I would never change companies, because I think Healthy Paws IS the absolute best pet insurance company. I tell all my friends and told my Vet, what a great company it is. When looking for pet insurance, I spent hours comparing different companies and what they offered. I was particularly cautious because I had a different insurance company for my first dog, Fiona, and the company found a loop-hole in order not to pay for any claims I made. I felt like I was just handing over $500 every year for no reason. ASPCA had a really comprehensive package, while more expensive, seem to cover all the needs my pets may need. Ten days after buying our insurance, my second dog Finn ate a soccer sock. He was in terrible shape and the drs didn't know if he would make it. We approved the emergency surgery to save his life, not knowing if we would have another bad experience with our pet insurance. ASPCA came through and covered exactly what they said they would cover. We would have found a way to pay for the bill regardless, Finn is a member of our family, but ASPCA saved us from that financial burden. I would highly recommend ASPCA to any pet owner!

We've had several claims submitted with Embrace over the past 7 years for our dog. The claims are easy and fast to submit (I wish people insurance was so easy) and they were paid right away. I'm surprised and very happy with Embrace. BTW very nice customer service agents as well.

We got Figo about a year ago and are so glad we did! We love our dog and the poor thing always seems to have issues. Figo helps our pocket book very much and their customer service along with timely feedback to emails or even text messages always is professional and friendly. They are very quick to review any claims and process them quickly. Their email notifications are great and website is easy to navigate and use!

Just want to say that when my paper work is sent in they have a fast turn around to get u the check... never had a problem with nationwide... thanks for everything..

My Border Collie has come down with an immune disease and Embrace is coming through again. Easy to make claims and fast reimbursement payments. My other mixed breed dogs have had claims as well and I have never had any problems with the claims. They cover what they say they will, and have good customer service.

Maxine is now 7 1/2 years of age. She is a wonderful dog with a great disposition. To us she like our little child. She adores people everywhere we go. She's had some serious health issues that were totally unexpected. Nationwide Ins. was the best investment we have ever made. If you truly care about your pet, you should never be without insurance for it. I've seen so many folks who suffer because they just don't have insurance and don't feel they can do what is necessary for their pet to have a good life. Nationwide has been there for us and we truly do appreciate it. I really wish more folks would insure their pets.

No claims during the first year. Embrace contacts us and says its been 1 year and your premiums are going up. Fine, we assumed a slight increase. Then they gave us the number and it was a 40% increase from the first year. Ridiculous!! We dropped them and will NEVER go back to them. The suck you in for the first year and then try to drive the price up an insane amount. No Thanks!!
