While dealing with multiple operations for cancer in my beautiful miniature bull terrier, having Trupanion on my side left many less things for me to worry about. Even my vet wishes all pet insurance was like Trupanion. The ease of having the covered portion automatically sent to the vet saved me from up-front out of pocket costs. I can't speak more highly of this company.

Trupanion is a company that has supported our pet and family exactly as they claimed they would. The ease of submitting a claim and the speed to which a claim is reimbursed is phenomenal. Their customer service is number one and their staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend Trupanion to anyone that has a pet or is thinking about getting one. We will never own another pet with out trupanion. In fact, my son has said that he plans to have trupanion one day when he has his own bulldog!

I am so thankful that I purchased this insurance with ASPCA! It really helped with some of the initial vaccination costs, etc., but was a lifesaver when my tiny toy poodle ended up overnight in the emergency animal hospital. I have always had a very easy time submitting my claims through the app, and it was very too easy to submit the large claim I had with the ER. They pay the claims very quickly, directly into your account, and I have always been able to find help online or over the phone! I will definitely be renewing my policy and purchasing the same for any other pets in the future! We rescued our 8th dog about 1 1/2 years ago and decided to try pet insurance. Neither of us had high hopes but our vet admin spoke very highly of Nationwide. Last year our pup had a bout of pancreatitis and wound up in the hospital for 3 days of treatment. Nationwide paid the claims within 24 hours and it couldn't have been easier. They paid exactly what our policy stated and we could spend our time nursing our fur baby back to health. Gave us peace of mind. Any time I have had a question, the Customer Service employees are terrific and very helpful. We are so glad we purchased our pet insurance from Nationwide.

Nationwide is by the best insurance we got for our dog. It eases my mind that I know they will always be there to help and at times eases my mind with the vet bills as majority is covered. I would highly recommend Nationwide for what they do and the work they put in.

I took out my Healthy Paws policy on my adopted poodle in 2017. My wife at the time thought pet insurance was too expensive and cumbersome, but I kept Fast forward to 2020 our 5 yr old poodle Charlie had a traumatic incident where after four visits to the vet then he was diagnosed with Addison’s disease. He required two days of IVs and shots. Addison disease is fatal if not treated. But manageable if treated. Having the policy during the pandemic was a lifesaver. My wife is a believer.
