Thank You healthy Paws
Unfortunately my dog at a foreign object and needed major surgery. My wife and I were worried about the coverage and maybe getting push back from insurance company, But in a matter of a few days i got approval from them on the medical bills no question asked.
It was great as we shifted our focus on our beautiful dog's recovery.
Thank you Healthy Paws! Highly recommended!

Enormous price increases
Although I think Trupanion has provided us with good care, the exorbitant price increases make it so I can not leave a positive review. Within the contract that we signed there is a provision for "minor price increases". Our original monthly payment was $89/month. Within the last year and a half our prices have increased to $132/month. This is an increase of almost 50% and FAR beyond a minor increase. The reason stated was that "the cost of veterinary care has increased in our area". My sister is a veterinarian and I know that this is not the case (or certainly not enough to justify a 50% increase over a year and a half period). We will be switching providers at these prices. Protect yourself from ridiculous price increases and go elsewhere.

Violated Human and Charter Rights
Fetch has violated my human and Charter-protected rights as a disabled person by denying a six-day accommodation for a delayed claim submission, which was due to my cognitive disabilities. I filed a claim with the HRTO, to which they initially failed to respond. When they finally did respond, it was to request an extension of the response deadline amounting to an astonishing 67 days. The hypocrisy is glaring. Upon responding, they escalated their stance, reinforcing their ableism and discriminatory actions. The level of blatant ableism exhibited by Fetch is appalling, reminiscent of a bygone era. Their conduct has been profoundly egregious. This case is ongoing.

One claim, premiums increased
We submitted one claim through healthy pet insurance earlier this year. Once the claim was resolved, which they did pay, they increased our rates by about 40%. Now, three months later I get our renewal with another substantial increase. From prior to the claim to now, the premium has almost doubled. I disputed this with customer service and was ghosted. There are lots of other better pet health insurance policies out there.

It won't pay your claims!
I bought insurance from Fetch a few years ago. At the time my monthly premium was about $30. It was all good till my cat got sick and I submitted claims. They increased my premium to $58 per month for the same coverage. But this was just the beginning! At my renewal date, they doubled my deductible amount and reduced my reimbursement rate for 20%! When I called the customer service, they said that is the only option they can offer! And since my cat is now sick and other insurance companies don't accept him, I'm stuck with Fetch. It's a terrible feeling when your fur baby gets sick and you have to not only deal with the stress of that but also all of the sudden your insurance company (Fetch) refuses to actually pay what you registered for and paid the premium for it for years!

Regarding the premium increase you mentioned our customer care team explained via emails that your pet was enrolled as a certain breed. Though we rely on the information provided by anyone enrolling a pet, we understand mistakes may be made. During a routine audit of your pet's medical records, a breed correction was made. To ensure accuracy and compliance with insurance regulations, we needed to update the premium. Charging premiums based on accurate pet details allows us to provide our features and benefits with no annual or lifetime caps. The second increase was an annual premium adjustment that takes place on your policy anniversary date. Your premiums are calculated on a state-by-state basis in accordance with filings that have been approved by state insurance regulators. In each state, premiums are affected by multiple factors including age, breed, sex, zip code, and the particular combination of reimbursement and deductible on a plan.
