Claim paid immediately. never any problems.

I gave 5 stars because I was rerated after my first year and charged more for my yearly unsurance premium. So, I chose to go down in services since my pup passed all his wellness services primarily and now I am paying less than I was, but I did not know that I can never go back to full coverage. I get paid promptly and it is really easy to process claims. The staff are patient and friendly which is always a plus.

Very helpful and patient

We had to visit emergency vet on a Sunday night, then followed up with a visit to our regular vet on Monday. Extensive tests were done by both vets. Invoices were submitted late Monday night and within a week, we had received payment by Trupanion directly deposited into our checking account. This could not have been any easier; and that was perfect because we were having a difficult enough time dealing with our sick cat, who today is much much improved.

Because it took me 2 hours at the veterinarian to get my claim handled. I was on the phone with AJ from trupanion and he was very helpful. He stayed on the phone with me while speaking with the girl at the check out, at my vet. We got disconnected and I called back and was put on hold for 30 minutes and then disconnected again. I called back again and was once again put on hold. After 20 minutes I was dropped again. I did not call back. There was total Chaos and total miscommunication from the veterinarian office to Trupanion. Its like this everytime I bring my dog into be seen. Not sure on which end the lack of efficiency and communication is coming from... The Vet or Trupanion. I am very disappointed and frustrated with all of it. Its almost worse then my personal health care system for humans.

Top notch service, filing a claim for Gus is so easy. Many other companies could or should follow in your foot steps.
