I've never imagined pet insurance could be this fantastic - but it is with FIGO! We have had ZERO hassles with this insurance, and they are quick to process claims and send a check - usually within a week. Their customer service has been super friendly and personable. They have covered all of our pup's needs from surgery, meds, xrays, to vet visits - we couldn't be more relieved to have the assurance we are covered no matter what happens! Buyer beware. I recently purchased a plan with an 80% reimbursement and a $500 annual deductible. I submitted my first claim for $23 which was processed. However, they don't actually apply the full $23 to the deductible. They take 80% of the $23 ($18 in this example) and apply that to the deductible. So, you actually have to submit $625 in expenses before they begin to pay 80%. In all my years of insurance I've never seen or heard of anyone administering a plan like this. It's incredible deceptive. I reviewed my contract and certificate and nowhere in the documentation does it say that's how it's done. They have every right to administer as they see fit but they should be very clear up front about exactly how this works. It's a $625 deductible you are paying for.

I was really on the fence about pet insurance. I had heard from several people (including a few vets) that it was basically just a rip off, and hardly ever paid off. 2 years ago my dog had a major surgery (before I had pet insurance) and I had to take out a loan to pay it off. Afterward I decided to get insurance for her. I did a lot of research, and settled on ASPCA because they just seemed a little better than the rest. Recently, she had a knee issue. She had a few months of physical therapy but ultimately it was decided she needed surgery. ASPCA actually covered some of her PT! The surgery ended up being just over $2000. I filed the claim online in less than 15 min and about a week later ASPCA deposited $1820 in my bank account. I was pretty floored and proud of myself for putting my trust in them. The next day I got a call from a representative. The first thing she asked was “how is your puppy doing after the surgery”. It kinda melted my heart that a corporation would go out of their way to inquire. Im really happy with the decision to go with ASPCA - to say the least.

Nationwide pet insurance is amazing! It brings me so much peace of mind to know that whenever my beloved pup is not feeling well that I don't have to worry about the cost. He is taken care of and on the mend quicker than he can fetch a ball. This insurance is better than my own. Thank you for helping me ensure that my dog is always happy and healthy.

Thank you for helping with my baby girl. This was the best experience with insurance. Easy claim review after I went on the website. The app would not let me load an image. My claim was processed quickly and had a check in the mail within weeks.
