It was either a brace for his leg or surgery. I felt I was doing the most economical by having the brace. I did not know the limit would be so low on a broken toe and fractured wrist. I was

Quick and Easy Claim
I have the Wellness Insurance and I took Frisco for his first check-up. My claim was processed at my veterinarian's office and I received reimbursement within 2 weeks. An explanation was added as to why a prepaid treatment was not paid. The EOB listed that I should resubmit this portion with the diagnosis, which I did and I am hopeful that I will get some reimbursement. Pretty easy communication.

Impressed with the amount insurance paid
I had stem cell therapy performed on my dog. She was having a lot of trouble getting around because of Arthritis. The therapy has helped her so much. The treatment was rather expensive, $2,500. The insurance covered everything but a little over $400. Very happy with the outcome.

Honest and responsive company
I have had my cocker covered since Nov 2014 with Pets Best. Customer service on the phone is excellent and reimbursements are accurate. The turnaround time on sending direct deposits has lengthened about four days. Explanation being-many new clients. The one negative is the 50 % increase in premium for the upcoming renewal in November. I was expecting a 30 % increase and find 50 % too high. And that is with 70% reimbursement. Overall, a solid insurer, superior to VPI which covered my first five rescues. So, recommended!

Always Satisfied
I’m so lucky to have nationwide insurance for my cat. He had to have another emergency dental surgery and they were helpful and covered his expenses so I didn’t have to worry about being able to afford his surgery

Nationwide was there with us every step of the way.
From the time Frankie partially tore a CCL Nationwide was there. The initial vet visits, prescriptions, out-of-state surgical specialists, and traveling were stressful on our family. Nationwide's 24x7 Vet Helpline assisted us with our treatment decisions. Their claims department's quick turnaround eased the financial burden of the surgical costs. We are now in a lengthy (but far less stressful) recovery period and facing it with confidence. Nationwide was our choice for pet insurance a number of years ago and they have always been there for us. This critical incident confirms we made the right decision.

Easy process and quick claim!
The online process to file a claim was very easy! Pets Best kept me informed throughout the process. They did a thorough review of all expenses from Chase's pancreatitis illness and paid all related expenses quickly, just as I would have expected. Thanks for a great experience!
