It's all good!

Both my husband and I are retired and would not be able to afford a large vet bill, so I decided pet insurance was the way to go. We have a 7-year-old German Shepherd, whom we love dearly. We have had several claims and each time have been very satisfied with the outcome. However, be aware that problems common to a specific breed are not covered; i.e. hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, etc. Knowing that should she be in an accident or need surgery for bloat, tumors, etc., or become ill, she would be covered, and that is peace of mind.

Pleasantly surprised

My Great Dane had to have entropion eye surgery. Not only was the claim paid in full (up to my chosen 90% reimbursement rate), but I received the check in about 2 weeks. Furthermore, I received an email from a Healthy Paws representative simply asking how she was doing. Healthy Paws definitely exceeded my expectations. I immediately signed my other dog up for coverage as well.
