Unfortunately, we have a Maltese that has had chronic issues in her young age. Pets Best has been phenomenal in their support and consultations since we joined their client network.

Our small dog, Myca, has Cushings disease. It took awhile to find out and then get the good results by constant testing to adjust and monitor her medications. Without you, we would not have been able to do any of this; to afford keeping her healthy and with us as long as possible. She would have died months ago. Now we have hope. I tell everyone about you!

No problems - easy to file a claim.

Completing & submitting the online claim form is so easy. In about a week, the claim was paid and money deposited into my checking account. It doesn't get much easier than that!

We have a 9 month old Frenchie. Knowing they do come with health issues we shopped for pet insurance. When we spoke with Trupanion, on multiple occasions, we specifically asked about "palette" surgery. Each time we were told it would be covered because its a known health condition for French Bulldogs. 9 months later, we learned that our Frenchie needs the surgery. We submitted a claim and were quickly told it would not be covered. The reason for the denial was that it was a "pre-existing" condition. They advised that during our puppy visit with our vet records showed that he would likely, at some point, need that surgery. Due to that puppy visit, Trupanion classified it as a pre-existing condition. Trupanion also failed to tell us that we would have to pay a $700 deductible with EVERY illness and that there is a 30day waiting period. Our Frenchie also has been rushed to an emergency vet with pneumonia which they didn't cover much of. Trupanion is a typical insurance company, build on lies and unethical policies.

Nationwide Pet Insurance has been on my side! My puppy had unexpected and costly dental surgery and other unforeseen medical costs. I was reimbursed shortly after my claims were submitted. I am grateful for the coverage that took away the financial hardship these costs would have caused.

Our sweet dog recently needed a cyst removed. She needed to see a specialist (or two) for tests and diagnosis. After surgery, she is on her way to being healthy again. The claims process was easy through the app, and all three reimbursements came very quickly. Having Healthy Paws let us focus on our dog instead of bills.
