No one wants to have to worry about do I or don't I treat my pets most critical illness. While small routine care can be postponed, the life or death, critical illness is urgent. I never want to make my financial health more important than my pets health. Pet insurance in my opinion is prepaid budgeting for those times when you most need it. Five years ago, my cat Bishop had to have a leg amputated, and Healthy Paws covered much of the costs (my policy includes a $500 deductible and 70% coverage).
