My dog developed a very bad cough and it cost us thousands of dollars treating her. We were able to get about half of the vet costs back which was incredibly helpful. The customer service I received from ASPCA was really great.

I'm familiar with many pet insurance companies from working at vet clinics and filing claims for clients so I knew I wanted to be choosy when selecting a pet insurance company for my dog, Buster. I chose the right company! Buster already had a long health history before we signed him up with Healthy Paws and in the last year and a half they've reimbursed us for over $3,000.00 of his current medical bills, things ranging from orthopedic issues to gastrointestinal disease. Healthy Paws continues to impress me, I wish my health insurance provider was as good to me as Healthy Paws has been to Buster. My new boss is now recommending Healthy Paws to our clients, and a veterinarian friend is recommending them at her practice too!

Our 10 month pup became very ill with pneumonia type symptoms. It took over 6 weeks and many tests and treatments before Baily was back to normal. The total bill was over $2000. We submitted the bills in two separate payments and probably were reimbursed for about 2/3 the total bill. In the past we have poo-pooed pet insurance but was very glad we had it this time. My main complaint was it took Several weeks for the claims to go thru and the webpage where you can monitor progress is very confusing. We have only had the insurance for less than a year so don't know about the problems with pre-existing conditions clause, although we have Level 3 and I believe that is a continuing care plan.

We have had Embrace as our pet insurance since our yellow lab first came into our lives. Marbles early on has had a hip problem and Embrace has been "Awesome" in dealing with our claims for him. We are a military family so we have had to deal with different vets as well as therapy programs for him and Embrace has been with us every step of the way. They are excellent about e mailing regarding any problems or questions be in to us or our vets. We would highly recommend Embrace to anyone.

We have had too many issues with our puppy who just turned one year old. Who would've thought he would have knee problems that required surgery and medication! And who would have thought he'd ingest part of his cone (numerous times) he had to wear while recovering. Luckily, we were smart enough to insure him with Healthy Paws Insurance. The coverage was great and the claims were processed so fast we couldn't believe it. Healthy Paws gives us the piece of mind when something unexpected happens. Best pet insurance plan ever!

The total bill was $402 and after my deductible of $50, Trupanion sent a check in the amount of $250 to cover a good percentage of the bill. Everything that isn't a pre-existing condition is generally covered! The only thing that isn't covered is the office visit fees and the 10% that is required (the policy is 90/10 coverage). I'm happy with the outcome and feel that this is the best insurance provider I could find :-) I have filed 3 claims and all have been taken care of efficiently!

Embrace has done a great job with insurance claims. My dog had a scary encounter with a raccoon last year, and then a foot injury recently, and they paid the claims right away. Their customer service is execellent. I was very impressed that they followed up on my emailed questions right away. Embrace is worth every penny!

I was skeptical about getting insurance for my new baby shih tzu.Embrace has made it so easy and given me peace of mind knowing she is being taken care of! My claim was easy to find,and they emailed me right away with their response.They cover exactly what they say they will,and there is not any question now that I made the right choice with Embrace!

Thankfully, I've never had to submit an injury or illness claim, so I can't speak for that, but Embrace is very quick about processing wellness claims!
