Our 8 1/2 year old Cocker Spaniel was diagnosed with patellar luxation which will require possibly two surgeries. We have had VPI since we got the dog from the breeder, and figured someday we will get our premiums back for future claims, as many if not all routine claims were reimbursed at a very low rate, if at all. Well here we are 8+ years later, and guess what? NOT COVERED!!! I don't know if this is just VPI, but suspect it is the same for all pet insurance companies, so my overall rating will be middle of the road.

Embrace is always there. Just read your contract and they will keep up their end. I see some people say their unfortunate because their pets did have any problems and so they did not use Embrace two things I say : #1 Be glad you have a healthy pet and #2 Embrace is their if you need it, just fire ins and car ins. Its Great peace of mind with a great insurance for pets !!!No I do not work for Embrace !!!!!!

I am lucky, as I tried Embrace first, and have never regretted it. I heard some horror stories about other pet insurances, but as I stated, Embrace is the first I tried am I'm fully satisfied. Just read your policy that you decide to take and Embrace will come thru. I say read the policy , as some people complaint they did not receive some refund on a bill, but in fact, they probably did not incorporate that item in their policy. Read the policy that you choose and you will be happy !!!!!

I have had Embrace Pet Insurance for four years. Unfortunately I have used it now twice. The first was a knee reconstruction on my Head and not only did they pay the claim after the deductible, they got additional bills from the vet and paid those even though I had not submitted them. This time two GSD got into Ibuprofen and the bill after one week at the emergency vet was $5600 Embrace paid $4407 of it and made it possible to continue the care they needed so as to reduce the possibility of kidney failure and keep my girls alive. When you wonder about $400 a dog per year PLEASE remember these stories. I could not afford (although I would find a way) to care for my GSDs without stress if it were not for this company.

My 10 year old dog, Murphy was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor. Not only did ASPCA pet insurance help with the finacial cost, I received follow-uo call to see how he was doing. The love of our lives Duchess a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel was stricken with CHF at 9 1/2 years of age. She required several trips to the emergency hospital and to Cardiac specialist in attempts to give her a better and longer life. Embrace has certainly helped me with my canines. One of my girls Cherish had seizures staring at approx. 1 year old and needs meds daily to keep her from getting more. Embrace never questioned or tried to get out of paying from that issue or a major issue with my other girl HOPE who had pyrometra, a uterin infection. I recommend them to all and told several vets about them as well, even mentioned them in face book as I am a animal lover,70 years old but on limited income. Just having it gives you peace of mind knowing that if a major problem occurs , Embrace has your Back !!!!!!

I have been with Pets Best for years. I have never had any issues with my claims, for my 10 Year old Labradoodle, Ruby.
