So Glad I Switched
I have had both of my dogs insured since they were puppies and Nationwide is the third insurance I have had. I switched after seeing information on it at my vet's office and then comparing my current plan to their quote. Every contact I have had with them has been fantastic. Their coverage is superior to anyone else out there for a comparable price and they pay claims very quickly. Only thing missing is submitting a claim online through the website but you can email it which is good. I highly recommend Nationwide!

Good customer service.
Dog had intestinal issue. Vet service charge, x-rays, and medications. Embrace staff covered the claim fully and reported promptly.

Claims timely paid
Very impressed with the ease of filing claims and reimbursement has been within 3-4 wks. Checking status of claims online is very easy. Glad I chose this company because they cover some things that others do not.

Resolved quickly.
Latonya was very helpful in making sure my claim was resolved quickly. She took the time to ask about my pet and was empathetic about our recent health troubles. I am impressed with the efficiency of the organization and appreciate that there were no hidden delays or loop holes. It was comforting to me that the insurance company paid with very little fuss or hassle.

Unhappy /confused
This year both times I have submitted a claim after 2 weeks I call to check the status of the claim I am told you can't read it so have to resubmit over again and wait longer, if I was rich it would not be a problem, I am not fussing I just can't understand why you cannot let us know sooner that you can't read them.

Thank You!! Sofie's ER Vet Claim Paid at 100%
I was distraught due to my fur baby's lower jaw stuck inside a plastic treat toy. I Had to rush her to 24-hour Vet Hospital in the snow in the middle of the night. However, all turn out fine and she is doing exceptionally well.

I really wanted to talk with a Supervisor concerning my ongoing issue but she was reluctant to do that.
I really wanted to talk with a Supervisor concerning my ongoing issue, but she was reluctant to do that. She basically told me that she could do the same thing as the Supervisor could. So... had to re-explain my issues for the 10+ time.
