Slightly tricky

It was simple and easy. I did have to call because I didn't know how to use my promo code. The representative was super nice and told me where to go.

Best cost for full coverage, fast claim submission

I am very pleased with MetLife. I have full coverage for my boxer pup. Through all my research MetLife was the only company that allows you to add preventative care for no additional charge. It’s been great using MetLife and the easy use app they provide to make claims a breeze.

Great help!

My puppy had gotten into a laundry basket and ate a few socks…took her to the vet to make sure she didn’t have any blockages. I’ve never paid so much money for dang socks before but luckily I had MetLife pet insurance to soften the blow of that visit.

Important to have!

Healthy paws has insured our dogs and cats for years. The premiums have always been reasonable and the policies are pretty straight forward. I have the ability to receive pet insurance from my employer at a discounted rate, but when I compared them, its worth it to stick with Healthy Paws. Submitting and being reimbursed for claims is extremely easy. There is no lifetime max. As a long time animal owner that is incredibly important. The costs can be astronomical. Our kitten just got sick with a urinary tract blockage which can be life threatening. Our vet removed the blockage but he had to spend the weekend at the hospital as he needed continued care. It was thousands of dollars we would have spent it regardless but it was wonderful knowing we had Healthy Paws to reimburse us. Highly recommend them!

Healthy paws has given me peace of mind

I got Blue, my baby girl when she was only 4 months. At first I was very indecisive about getting pets insurance or not, since she was still young and she looked like a normal healthy puppy, but my dog mom side pushed me to get it as a backup, since I never wanted to think about putting a pet down due to their Vet bills. I can tell you that has been the best decision ever, Blue ended up being a frequent flyer to the vets office, her GI issues were non stop and on and off every 2-3 months; so many labs, medications, tests were done trying to figure out what was going on with her, until after a year of testing for autoimmune diseases and rotating diets, a blood allergy test told us was wrong. Her belly was fine, but now, a mass showed up on her neck! Because of her age (she had just turned 3yo) the vet didn’t think it could be something bad (it was). She was diagnosed with a mast cell tumor, had to have surgery, followed by visits to the oncology area. On this journey, healthy paws has paid claim after claim. Filing is as simple as uploading a picture of the receipt, and you are done! They’ve never denied Blue a test, a medication or a surgery, and they pay back in 2-3 days. I even joke around with friends and family saying that she has a better insurance than I do, but honestly, she does, and it makes me so happy having the peace of mind that, I can fight for her and her health without having to worry about medical bills piling up. Their customer service is also very good. They’ve emailed me asking for Blue and her progress and the only time I needed to call to update some information over the phone I was on hold for less than 5 minutes. TLDR. Get your pet insurance, you never know what can happen, Healthy paws has been the best decision I’ve taken for Blues well-being and my peace of mind.

Cat Health and Nutrition

Thanks for sharing such an informative article. I really appreciate it. I'm also writing stuff on cats' basic needs and utilities: like the best brushes for long-haired ragdoll cats or the best food and treats, and also about litter and cat toys. You can read my blog post at https://gopetco.com/

Hank goodness for trupaniom

I am so glad I have Trupanion as insurance. This was my dog’s second foreign body surgery that cost 15,000. Trupaniom covered it at 90%. We never would have been able to afford this surgery without the help,of trupanion. They may be expensive when paying your monthly premium, but you can always count on them to help pay for those unexpected e emergencies.
