I have been a customer of Healthy Paws for 3 or 4 years. I have both my labs covered, and unfortunately I have had two substantial claims. Most recently with a major life threatening condition that required a costly emergency surgery. Healthy Paws is there when you need them. The claims processing is easy and straight forward. You can estimate exactly what you will be responsible for and what Healthy Paws will cover. But that is not the best part of Healthy Paws. It is the employee's constant caring and compassion for you and your pet that comes through in every interaction with them. They are quick to communicate with you where your claim is every step of the way, and a check arrives in 7 to 10 days (initial claims take longer due to complete record review). Even after your check arrives, they continue to communicate with you to see how your beloved pet is doing. I could go on and on about the great care and service our family has received from Healthy Paws. However, I think my tendency to tell everyone I know about them says it all. My dog tore his ligament and required TPLO surgery. Pets Best had an incredibly easy claim filing process (scan bills and upload to website) and they direct deposited my reimbursement in about 10 days. If only health care for humans worked like this!!!!!

My dog had surgery to remove a suspicious growth on her toe. The bill was $900+ and after I paid it I faxed the bill to them. I got a check for $586.00 shortly after that. Were were happy that the growth was not malignant, but I was relieved that we had Embrace insurance to help us with the additional expenses of cancer treatment if it had been malignant.

Healthy Paws is a responsive and reliable company that I have appreciated working with since I got my dog.

I Purchased this policy about 6mo ago with level 3 care (silver plan)and I elected the option for routine wellness care. I took my dog into the vet for his yearly exam and while at the exam the vet found that he had an ear infection. She treated the ear infection and did his yearly visited and gave his yearly vaccinations. When I submitted the claim to ASPCA they accepted the claim but filed the visit as under illness visit including the yearly exam. Which then get put towards your deductible (mine plan had $100 deductible) They filed no part of the exam under routine wellness even though that's all he went for. I was expecting they would have paid for the visit and yearly vaccinations and they treatment of the ear would have gone to the deductible but not the case. So my for my $192.00 claim I received $15.00. The claim also took over 1 month to complete. This plan is a total ripoff and this company will find any way they can to keep their money. Your better off to save the money monthly in a savings account.

Our dog had a mast cell tumor on his leg that required surgical removal. We submitted several claims over the course of his treatment. All claims were processed quickly and courteously. I was amazed and am so appreciative of the amazingly fast service and genuine concern expressed from Healthy Paws. They are one of the good guys and I enthusiastically recommend them to anyone considering insuring their pets.

I spent a lot of time researching pet insurance as the idea seems smart but we've all heard the bad stories about clauses and refusals to pay. I chose Embrace and have never regretted the decision. For many years my German Shepherd Max was healthy and didn't need a thing - which is the best case scenario. He is now getting older and has been plagued with some of the old age ailments we can all look forward to - including severe arthritis in his back and legs and was recently diagnosed with neurological degenerative issues. Embrace claims are processed immediately upon submission and it is really pretty easy. All of my communications with Embrace have been with knowledgeable and friendly folks who really seem to care about Max. After a surgery he had a few years ago - they even called to see how he was doing! Getting older is never easy - but having Embrace as a partner in my dog's care has made a huge difference in Max's quality of life and mine. I cannot recommend them enough. Don't even think about another company. I recommend them to everyone I can.

This is the first time we used the insurance, we've had it fo a few years, but hadn't used it. Our dog, molly got hurt and we had to use it, they treated us great, and we were so thankful for the reimbursement, because her bills were quite high, I would definatly recommend this insurance for anyone who loves their fur babys, and I feel the price you pay for this insurance is very reasonable. I will definitely recommend this to family and friends

We had ASPCA pet insurance on our last dog. We found out how important it was to have insurance. So when we got our next dog we knew right away to sign up. Again it has been a blessing to have as our new guy gets worked up for allergies. And then you have those instance where young dogs like to put things in their mouth that they shouldn't....so taking him to get checked out was an easy decision knowing we had pet insurance to help cover the costs.
