Quick reimbursement by ASPCA Pet Health Insurance for unusual diagnostic and surgical procedures that saved my cat's life.

My female cat was producing unusually strong smelling urine, had no appetite, and was increasingly lethargic. My brilliant vet theorized it had something to do with the pituitary gland, so she did an ultrasound and found a mass adjacent to the gland. But because of the density of nerves and blood vessels she need a "better picture" before operating. An ultrasound specialist with equipment that provided higher resolution--at higher cost--was engaged, showing a tumor that was next to, but not attached to, the gland. The vet did the surgery, removing the tumor--which was malignant--and my cat recovered quickly. She is still doing well (knock on wood). The insurance provided through ASPCA paid 80% of about $2500 in medical bills associated with this claim. They dealt directly with the vet for any detailed information, and sent the reimbursement directly to my checking account. After this experience I immediately enrolled my younger male cat in the ASPCA plan...and a good thing too, he recently had to have surgery on his ear and the claim was again paid expeditiously. I can easily recommend this insurance!

We are so very lucky and grateful for nationwide pet insurance. Our sweet boy has benefited immensely from allowing us to give him the opportunity of the best heath care. Nationwide has helped us in so many ways financially, without question. We are so thankful that we chose the plan that we did for our dog, it has undoubtedly made a difference in his and our lives.

Healthy paw insurance is best

I am very glad to have a healthy paws insurance Because I had a couple of pet insurance before I became a Healthy paws insurance member I had a very bad experience with the other insurance company they didn’t help me out at all. But this Healthy paw insurance is great. BBC

glad to have insurance on a pure bred dog, but wish it covered more of total costs put out

Decided to purchase insurance on 2nd Doberman after multiple issues w/first Dobie. So far is worth it but costly and doesn't cover a lot of the expenses. I feel it's more of a catastrophic coverage policy. It does give a portion back on normal fees and the process is simple w/my vet sending the info to Nationwide. Nationwide is prompt at refunding as well and when I've had to speak w/representatives they are very helpful and polite.

Amazing Customer Service and Prompt Reimbursement for Claims

I have been a Healthy Paws customer for a few years. The claims process is very easy and convenient since I can submit pictures of my invoices via the Healthy Paws phone app. I had not incurred significant pet expenses in excess my plan year deductible until recently. I paid the vet on a Wednesday evening and submitted pictures of my receipt and itemized invoice via the Healthy Paws phone app the same night. The claim was processed on Thursday and I received a direct deposit reimbursement on Monday. Their quick processing time surpassed my expectations! In addition, I received a personalized follow-up email from Healthy Paws to check in on my pet. Worrying about a sick pet is stressful enough. I did not have to worry about the financial burden of the ER bills thanks to Healthy Paw's efficiency in processing my reimbursement.

Nationwide insurance was a lifesaver for our Boston Terrier and relief and peace of mind for us ! ! !

Having dogs as part of our family for 39 years we had never had to have emergency surgery until this year when our Boston Terrier swallowed something he shouldn't have. We had to rush him over 100 miles to have emergency surgery on his stomach and small bowel. Nationwide was there for us. They covered 90% of the bill and the claims process was very easy. We received our payment from them in a very fast manner. Just recently he received a check up and his rabies shot and again Nationwide's payment was accurate and very fast. We're so glad we chose Nationwide for our Boston Terrier's pet insurance. If we didn't have Nationwide and had to pay for the total cost of his emergency surgery out of pocket we'd be eating a lot of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for lunch and dinner.
