Trupanion Rocks!
Our little Jax, a 13 month old cairn got soo sick Easter Sunday. He started vomiting with diahrea and shaking non stop. I tried to hold out a few hours but i started to worry about dehydration. Good thing we went to the ER Hospital. Poor baby just had a bad tummy, but they gave him fluids and anti everything else. What a bill! But Trupanion came through! 90% reimbursement of the bill (minus deductable and office visit). Just like they say. If you are looking for a good company, pick Trupanion!

Dependable Company that does all the work for you!
I recently had to have eye surgery for my year old Chinese Sharpei. Healthy Paws processed my claim within 24 hours, that's what you call service. They even send follow up email's to see how my Argus was recovering, what company does that? Healthy Paws is the smartest decision I ever made. Thank you again Healthy Paws for everything!!

READ YOUR POLICY PEOPLE!
Seriously people, stop posting these ridiculous super low reviews and READ YOUR POLICY WHEN YOU GET IT IN THE MAIL OR ON THEIR WEBSITE! It explains EVERYTHING covered/not covered, as well as fully specifies every exclusion and terms of the policy coverage I've read that anyone has complained about! If you don't understand it 100%, have any questions, or are remotely unsure about coverage details, they are happy to explain it and answer any question fully, as they did with me and 3 separate relatives when we enrolled almost 6 years ago!

Regretting this insurance
Thought this would be good to have for a puppy...but it turns out, so little it covered of their routine care, even with the routine ryder, that it just isn't worth the hassle to save maybe $25 / year. I won't recommend this insurance any longer.

Annual wellness allowance is way too low.
The wellness rider we purchased with Annie's plan is way too low for an annual policy. It's used up in no time. There should be a much higher amount allowable especially under the best plan(which we purchased).

Enabled us to save our dog.
Our ten month old puppy slipped out the door, ran into traffic and was run over by an SUV. We got her to the emergency vet immediately and we were told the initial expenses would be around $8500. Since we had Embrace insurance, we asked them to try and save her. We pay $60 a month for an 80% reimbursement rate. $10,000 in vet care costs, one fixed puppy, and five weeks later, we have been reimbursed 80% of the bills as promised, minus the $200 deductible. The forms are extremely easy to understand and fill out, and the fact that they pay a set percentage of the bill instead of reviewing all the expenses to see what is allowed and disallowed has been a tremendous relief to us. As soon as we submitted the paperwork (just one simple form and a copy of a paid invoice from the vet) they kept in touch with us about the progress of the claim. The paperwork that we got informing us of our reimbursement was, again, very easy to understand. Thank you Embrace for coming through and enabling us to save our dog.I highly recommend them to anyone with a pet. You never know what will happen, and even if we pay $60 a month for the rest of our dog's life, it will still come out to less than what we have already been reimbursed.
