While sorry to have to use my pet insurance, I am a pet owner who is 100% satisfied with Trupanion. Their telephone staff is supportive, caring and very professional. I have had to submit 3 claims during my beautiful pet's illness, and I was so pleased with the rapid response from Trupanion. I was notified by e-mail when the claims were received, processed and sent out. Having my beloved pet sick has been very stressful for us, but there has been no stress whatsoever dealing with Trupanion. I endorse them wholeheartedly.

I have been very happy with this plan for many years. Now because my dog is 14 years old they changed my policy and tripled my premium. This is how they treat customer who has been with them for many years (and only filed two minor claims). Watch out everyone for a triple increase in your premium when your dog gets older!!!!!

In 2012, I purchased only a basic pet insurance from Trupanion for my dog, Puffy, because of his vet recommendation since he was going to be 8 years old at that time. He was so healthy with lots of energy so I did not expect anything to happen to him. In the beginning, I thought I was just wasting my money but several months later Puffy could not walk because he had dislocated disc and needed back surgery right away. Without Trupanion, I won't be able to afford the cost of his surgery which came over $9,000, and he won't be able to walk again. Trupanion saved his life. Now, he is able to stand and tries to walk on his own but still needs wheelchair and theraphy sometimes. Last month, he tried to chase our other dog and jumped from sofa. I had to take him back to his hospital the next day for check up after he did not want to walk even on his wheelchair or urinate. The hospital bill came out over $1,000 and I was really concern that Trupanion would not pay for this bill because it already paid for his surgery a year ago. But I was wrong, within a week I got my reimbursement and I was able to pay back my credit card. Trupanion not only provides the best pet insurance, but the staff also keeps contact to check how Puffy is doing. As a pet owner, I really appreciate their service and concern. We rescued our pit-greyhound mix several months ago and for the first time, decided to get pet insurance. The experience so far has been absolutely fantastic! Our by acquired pneumonia and we have had several visits to the Animal Medical Center in NYC. Great facility but expensive - thank goodness for Healthy Paws! They have been incredibly responsive and so helpful to ensure that our first claim was processed as quickly as possible. The follow up claims were processed even faster. Their representatives respond directly to emails, and quickly - it was hard to believe the personal attention given. The coverage is great and compared to the premiums I would have paid with other companies, Healthy Paws is also one of the most affordable without question. We feel very lucky to have found them. We have no complaints at all and highly recommend them!

We had our vet submit the claim to Trupanion the same day, but we anticipated it would be an extensive process before we received any word or reconciliation on the claim. But, to our pleasant surprise, Trupanion followed up within a week of the surgery and sent us a reimbursement within two weeks. We really didn't expect this to be so quick or easy, but are definitely happy we have Trupanion. Also, the biopsy results were negative. :-)

My Boston Terrier mix, Callie, had a run-in with a porcupine. She needed extensive medical care and because of Embrace I didn't have to hesitate with a "YES" when the doctors asked "May we proceed?" Callie didn't make it but I rest easier knowing we did everything we could. I didn't have to make that hard decision that is usually driven by my financial situation. Thank you Embrace for being there for us. The claim process was easy during a hard time. When I spoke to you on the phone you were practically crying with me and I could feel the understanding. I'm not sure what else to say but if you are considering pet insurance, don't just consider it, DO IT! Embrace is the place to go. The process of enrolling and placing claims is quick and easy and worth every penny.

It's always easy to get through immediately to a real, live person who is relaxed, helpful, and actually knowledgeable. I quickly got the answers I needed and, for good reasons, trusted that whatever I addressed would be handled swiftly and thoroughly. I've had cats since I was 4 and now I'm 64 and this is the first time I purchased insurance and I'm sooooo glad I did.

We submitter 3 clames with our French Bulldog and so far, didn't run into any problems. Its just as advertised. We pay exam fee, one time deductible per condition, and everything else was covered by Trupanion (90%). Vaccinations and any preventatives are not covered. All in all, great service, fast response, pleasant over the phone - great pet insurance. Wish there was a place to upload your pets pics so that they could be featured on your profile and on the website. (current photo feature is not working). Highly recommend.
