Embrace is horrible!!!
Claims are being denied for "wellness", when wellness is not what my dog was brought in for. She had non-wellness issues that I sought to get remedied by her vet.

Love love love
I've had Trupanion for about 5 years now and they are truly the best. Every time I submit a claim it always gets processed super fast and I get the money in no time. They were also the only pet insurance company that would even cover my senior dog. Thier rates are always affordable and their coverage is the best in the business, trust me I did my research. It's very reassuring to know that my baby boy is protected and that I'll never have to worry about his health and money. Thanks Trupanion.

slow reibursement
We have been customers of Embrace for almost 2 years. Up until September 2013 we were completely satisfied. Our claims for both Wellness and medical were processed quickly and efficiently and generally had our claim satisfied within 7-10 days. However in September of 2013 the company switched to another provider and currently we have two submitted claims one for Wellness on 9/27/13 and one for medical on 9/30/13 as of this date we still have not received our reimbursement.
A policy holder should not have to wait 30 days for a claim to be processed. We have pet insurance to ease the burden of out of pocket expenses. When it takes 30 days (or more) to receive refunds it does little to ease the burden.
We will be exploring other insurance providers who offer a similar plan but with expedited claim reimbursement.

Healthy Paws -- highly recommend
Healthy Paws has been fantastic. After being rejected by at least one other pet insurance company due to pre-existing conditions, Healthy Paws offered a comprehensive coverage package, customizable in terms of coverage and deductibles, and no annual or lifetime limits. They have been incredibly easy to deal with when I have had to file claims and they process and pay the claims very quickly -- and, they pay exactly what I expected to be paid, so there were no surprises and I didn't have to fight to get claims paid. Their customer service staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend them.

I wish my health insurance was as good!
Payments were prompt and there were no hoops to jump through.All we had to do was submitt a form that our vet had to fill out and we fill out a few bits of info.We faxed it and received an e-mail that they had gotten the form it was being processed.No fuss.No bother.They also thanked us for taking care of our pet.
