Great company

We are relatively new to Healthy Paws, but already we have had a great experience! My vet recently removed a suspicious growth on my dog's ear (it was benign thankfully) and our experience afterward with Healthy Paws was fantastic. The claim submission process was easy and efficient. The company sent a personalized email to check on my dog's recovery. The reimbursement came lightning fast...I have only had experience until now with human insurance companies and expected a long, drawn out process. This was the exact opposite. I highly recommend this company without any reservations.

Insurance to the rescue

With our kitty having a persistent urinary infection, the cost of keeping her healthy was dipping into our monthly budget. Thank goodness for the reimbursement by ASPCA Pet Insurance. They are so timely in this reimbursement, we don't even miss so little budgetary output. Thank you ASPCA Pet Insurance !!

Vital to keep your pet in good health

Healthy Paws has been great w/responding to claims and handling all inquiries. My rescue pitbull, Sam, unfortunately has a habit of ingesting things that are harmful. The first time, when I had him for 2 mos, he swallowed half a tennis ball. I didn't have insurance and it cost approx $2000 for surgery to remove the ball. After that frightening experience, I purchased Healthy Paws and am so glad that I did. As a young dog he has had a few other mishaps that were now covered by Healthy Paws - he was bitten by another dog; scorched the pads of his paws from playing on hot summer pavement, ingested an eye glass lens, ear infection and most recently a ping pong ball scare. I didn't have one problem with re-imbursement for any of the above. We could not do without this insurance and I highly recommend it.

Our first Claim with Embrace

We chose Embrace for two of our dogs insurance and submitted our first claim. Our dog had high protein (a year ago) in his urine which Embrace counted as a pre-existing condition. Recently he was not acting well so we brought him to the vet to see if something was wrong. Our vet did a number of tests - ONE of which waS related to the pre-existing condition. The bill was $645. Embrace initially rejected the whole claim. After appeal they agreed to pay only the wellness portion ($200). T The rest of the tests they rejected...including Chemistry Super, T4 Thyroid test, and the Lyme panel which were absolutely not related (and not part of a wellness exam). They basically are saying that if there is ANY pre-existing condition All diagnostic testing for that pet will be denied forever....no matter how unrelated the test are to the initial condition. This is completely unacceptable. I consider this company to be deceitful and totally unethical. Do not sign up for Embrace...find a better choice as we are going to do!

Good Customer Relations

Payment took a little longer than expected but settlement was fair. Contact maintained throughout process. Customer relations was very attentive and cooperative. One definitely significant negative-I was notified almost immediately after my claim was paid that the premiums would be increasing by about 25%.

Great Insurance Company For Your Furry Friend

We first noticed our Bulldog having excess tearing in his right eye with frequent blinking so we took him to the vet. His first diagnosis was conjunctivitis which turned out to be entropion. Trupanion processed our claims very quickly each time with no questions asked and we have nothing but positive thing to say about this company. Our dog's surgery cost almost $900 which Trupanion covered 90% of it! This is a great insurance provider and we highly recommend it!

Great experience with Embrace

This was the second ACL repair for my dog this year. I never would have been able to do both knees in a year if I didn't carry insurance that covers orthopedic surgeries. Embrace made it possible for me to give my dog the ultimate care. They were very responsive to me with both claims and reimbursement was very quick after the claim was filed! Thank you for great service!

Caring team, easy process and great service

I switched insurance to Embrace after reading many customer reviews and product comparison articles online. I was happy with my initial insurance, but I wanted something that made me feel at ease when my dog is older (she will be 4 in the new year). The claims process is extremely easy, but what I really love is the follow up. I always receive an email providing the explanation of the claim. I really love that every customer representative I have emailed or spoken to are animal lovers. I like knowing that the people who I have to deal with when I file a claim, understand what I am going through as a customer and pet owner. My beloved dog just had her nail ripped off from a crazy doggie daycare session that took almost 1 month to health. Not only did the claims department process it quickly, but the follow up was great as usual. We rarely have health issues with Maxah, but when we do (and even if it's during the annual check ups), it is comforting to know we are in good hands from a financial/insurance perspective.
