Great protection for my pups and my finances

I insisted to my husband that we get pet insurance for our beloved border collies. They were both in perfect health at the time (Sparkle - 4 years, Magic - 2 years), and so we signed up with Healthy Paws in May 2015. Two months later, Sparkle got sick with a severe urinary tract infection and was rushed to the emergency vet because she was peeing blood. Healthy Paws covered the claim and it was a big help to us. Within the first year having Healthy Paws, Sparkle had a few claims related to her UTI, and also a lipoma biopsy, all which was covered with no hassle. The claims were processed quickly. This year, our other dog Magic had a cracked tooth, which was an unexpected $1400 expense for surgery and extraction, plus medication. The whole thing was covered by our plan, and we were so happy to have been able to afford the best treatment for our boy. We have the $250/90% plan for each dog so we pay a higher premium, but this is absolutely worth it for us. Healthy Paws covers any accident or illness, with the exception of pre-existing conditions. The claim submission process is easy and their customer service is great. I strongly recommend them to any pet parents looking for extra protection for your finances as it relates to your pet's health.

Pets best is great.

This is my very first time owning pet insurance, therefore I'm not all acquainted with how the process works. Although this claim didn't take long to be porocessed so I'm very satisfied with that.

Impressed

I was very impressed with the helpful assistance and prompt reimbursement after my lab tore his CCL and had surgery. I confirmed the process with them, paid the bill, and the clinic submitted the claim. Very pleased with this insurance. Thanks Embrace!

Professional, yet even more compassionate

I want to thank all the representatives that I have spoken to at Embrace. Especially most recently, Joey K and Peter for their compassion and assistance. Always caring and helpful, thank you for all you did for me. While it was a struggle to gain the benefits at times, your representatives mitigations overcame any frustrations I felt at any point. Overall, while I would definitely recommend Embrace, I would add the caveat that you may need to actively pursue any claims and stay in good graces with your veterinarian.

Embrace is the best, hands down.

I have had my 6 year old Newfoundland Piper on the Embrace plan since she was a pup. Last month she developed bloat with a stomach twist and had to have emergency surgery. My claim with Embrace was covered very quickly with no questions asked. I will never have another dog without the coverage of Embrace.

extreme disappointment

Recently I submitted a claim. The company that processed my claim gave me $0 on my claim of $767.74. I carried regular pet insurance plus wellness. This company and the processing company are just like any insurance they take your money, but when you really need them they deny.

Healthy Paws enables you to focus on best care opt

When my retriever collided with another dog during a retrieve and broke both upper and lower canine teeth in addition to laceration of his upper lip, I was able to immediately focus on the best care options for him instead of what funds I had in my budget for emergency. My husbands response when I informed him of the incident was not a concern about our financial situation, but a sigh of relief that we have insurance. Healthy Paws customer care line verified my coverage when I called and a real person wished us well. My claim was promptly processed and although I could see each step on the app, I also received emails as it was processed. I was so impressed when I received an email after the claim was completed to inquire how my dog was recovering!

Fustrating

I sent in claims and have yet to have them paid out. I have to contact them by phone because thier website doesnt give enough information about what is needed to have the claim processed. Then I get a email same thing no information it just says check the website. Which also has zero information about the claim so you have to call. Everyone i have spoken to are nice but nice doesnt give me results. They often find a reason not to pay out a claim this time it was not enough history before we had our dog insured. Its been 3 months and i yet have had a claim paid out. Even after repeated phone calls I really dont have time to keep on them. There has to be an eaisier way.

you guys are awesome

everytime I send in a claim I wonder if it will be covered. My dog LIttle Star is on meds for probably the rest of her life. Thank God it is a manageable disease with treatment. I have never been denied claims yet. What a greay pet insurance company. Hats off to Laura Bennet and your entire staff. You all are a godsend
