Nationwide has been great with my claims, I am glad that I took the insurance out for my dog.

Claims under Nationwide Pet Insurance are a breeze using the VitusVet app on your phone. Just enter in the amount of the claim, take a photo of the vet's invoice and submit. So convenient! Claim processing is quick, and the explanations of benefits are straightforward and clear. Definitely recommend Nationwide Pet Insurance.

My Paco was a really sick little boy. Nationwide just paid the claim, which took about 10 days or less. The claim was over 1800 and they paid all but a little over one hundred dollars. I have never had a problem with any claim I have submitted to them and there has been many. My Paco is about 13 1/2 years old and have many health issues. But he is doing much better now;. I would recommend Nationwide to anyone who is looking for pet insurance, and I always do.

This is an amazing company. They are very efficient and it could not be easier to submit claims. I have NEVER had an issue with them; they do EXACTLY what they say they are going to do in your policy. I can’t recommend them more strongly. Great pet insurance!!!!

I've had a claim pending for 2 months and I've reached out multiple times about the status. This last phone call (12/4/19), the woman said a senior claims specialist told her they would have it completed by Friday (12/6/19). It's now Saturday and I have heard nothing. Trupanion has no problem rejecting my dogs acl surgery claiming it's somehow an '?illness'?, in only 2 days! Trupanion had no hesitation rejecting my appeal to that claim in less than 5 days. Now, it's been two months, I've been fed baseless lies and it feels like you're trying to search for a reason to deny this most current claim and/or once you realize it should be legitimately covered, you wait to be hassled before acting...which has yet to be proven effective.

Very easy to file the claim. Took quite a while to hear the result and no l didn't hear much during the time between when the chain was complete and when I found out it was finished. I did get one email telling me the process was slower than usual because of high volume. Over all quite satisfied. Thank you.
