Fantastic Customer Service
Easy online sign up and coverage selection. We've had our two dogs covered for about one year when our female tore her ACL. After receiving all of her surgery information, Healthy Paws kept me posted on her claim process, and came through with the claim payment on time and as promised. Follow up emails checking on her recovery were personal and pleasant. I have recommended Healthy Paws to many of my friends already.

Embrace has been great!
Our rescue dog developed weakness in her hind end and began turning her knuckles over when walking. An MRI revealed she had lumbosacral disease. Her symptoms were caused by compressed nerve roots in her spine causing a tremendous amount of pain. Embrace was quick to approve the precertification for an MRI. Surgery was required to relieve the compression. Embrace sent us their portion of the reimbursement very quickly. If we did not have Embrace we could not have provided the care our dog so desperately needed to relieve her pain. I also can't say enough about the customer service. The Embrace staff is always very friendly and ready to help.

Maya's Health Insurance
This is my 2nd claim in a couple of months. A couple of months ago she needed mouth surgery and 6 teeth removed along with other tests. The bill came to $1300 but I only had to pay about $256.00. My vet's office uses express claims and I did not have to lay out all that money and wait for a refund. I only paid my portion. This time around my cat was vomiting quite a bit and tests were taken. Her bill came to about $286.00 and with express claims I only had to lay out $78.00. I've had VPI in the past for several dogs and did not get much money back, but did pay more for the monthly premium as well. I'm thrilled with Trupanion so far and hope they continue to take care of us the way they are now.

Healthy Paws is Awesome !!!
Purchasing pet insurance is very confusing. I am so happy to have chosen Healthy Paws as the insurance carrier for my puppy Gizmo. I have had to submit a few claims, each handled quickly and efficiently. The latest claim was for Gizmo to have surgery for "Cherry Eye". I usually e-mail my claim and a copy of the vet bill. Gizmo had the surgery on 1/29/14 and I received an e-mail advising completion of the claim on 1/30/14. I received my reimbursement check on 2/4/14. Not only did my claim get processed in such a speedy way but I even received an e-mail checking on how Gizmo was feeling. It makes you feel that they really care. Also, by the way, Gizmo even received a card for his birthday. I can't say enough good things about Healthy Paws.

worth the wait
In December our 8 year old male Papillon Buttons became extremely ill and was diagnosed with Addisons disease. Although it took some time for our claim and vet records to be reviewed, ultimately we were satisfied completely by Trupanion. Our expenses that we paid upfront were 90% reimbursed. Since our dog's condition is treatable but not curable he will require medication for the rest of his life and we are grateful to have Trupanion and their excellent service to help with that expense.

Peace of mind
We love our English Bulldog, but after he had surgery for a luxating patella, I realized that we weren't going to the dog park, petsmart or on car rides as much. His recovery has gone great, but I was worried about the financial implication of another injury. I got healthy paws in order to give myself and him our freedom and carefree attitudes back. Since then, he tore is CCL and had to have a TTA procedure to repair the leg. Healthy Paws was great throughout the whole experience. Whether it was providing the a list of pre-existing conditions (because of course a 4 year English has a vet chart more heavy than most mortgage documents) to the reps walking me through the vet diagnosis and our coverage, to faster processing time than my vet, I can't be happier with Healthy Paws. The hardest part of this has been convincing our dog that he has 4 more weeks of R&R before he can rejoin the rest of the neighborhood.

Fantastic! Thank you Healthy Paws!
They were so supportive, quick turnaround with the claim, and they covered most of our pups procedure. They were so nice troughout the process...even asking how Leigha was doing.

Embrace is definitely the best insurance out there
I researched pet insurance after my dachshund passed away from a lengthy illness - for which I did not have insurance for. Every month her medical care varied from 800-2300. I was fortunate enough to have a job which enabled me to pay her bills.
That said, when I adopted my next dog, the first thing I did was sit down and dedicate some serious time to research all of the Pet Insurance companies. I had it narrowed down to two - Embrace + Trupanion, but after doing detailed research (phone calls etc) I decided Embrace was far superior as far as coverage, price, varied plans and overall professsionalism + friendliness.
The peace of mind knowing no matter where I am with my dog, that we are covered and the idea of knowing I can walk into an ER to have her examined and not sweat the bill is a huge relief.
The reiumbursment time for claims has never been longer than two weeks, tops. I've now been with them for almost 4 years and have recommended them to anyone and everyone I come into contact with.
My dog just had surgery to remove lumps on her head - and the process for filling out the forms is painless (By the way, most vets will do it for you - just email them the claim form and they will fill out the claim and fax/email to Embrace. Easy breezy.
And as far as the number one question is pet insurance worth it? See my first paragraph.
