Having the ASPCA insurance has been such a wonderful experience. Last month, my 5 year old maltipoo named Raymond was very sick. He had a terrible bacterial infection which turned out to be hepatitis. He underwent a liver biopsy and spent 4 days in a hospital. Our 4 year old girl needed a series of tests to address implications of crystals in the urine. We are happy to say that she came through with flying colorsafter being very worried, and Healthy Paws processed the claim (initial claim made in the two plus years we have had our shih tzu and have had insurance) quickly and positively. Since the first claim requires all medical records to be submitted, we were so impressed with their service and their follow-up- they emailed to see how our girl was feeling after all of the tests! We can't say enough god things about Healthy Paws- they are first class in customer service!

I adopted a stray cat at the end of December who was around a year old. I purchased a policy from Healthy Paws in January and thank God I did. Towards the end of February she stopped eating and became jaundiced. It turned out that she had a blocked bile duct that required surgery. Needless to say the vet bills were enormous, but Healthy Paws paid out on my claims within a week, and emailed to see how my little girl was doing afterwards!

Customer services representatives are always friendly, patient, and provide answers that are easy to understand. The online system for claims is very user friendly and the payment turnaround time is amazingly fast. I would highly recommend this plan.

Over the years, I have used different pet insurances because Pugs always seem to have issues. In the past, I had ASPCA and they were very good and covered our dog till the end. We did try someone else with new pet and was not satisfied at all and came right back. They process claims fast, no hassle and check is in the mail within 1-2 weeks. The deductables are excellent. Very satisfied and not switching. Even have my Persian covered.
