4 month old Chihuahua puppy got bacterial pnuemonia. Vet and emergency charges over 2300.00 and TruPanion filed claim quickly paying 1037.00. I received several checks at one time but my bank stated they reject Trupanion checks. They told me they put a 7 day hold on mine only because I'm a long time good customer. Has anyone else had this problem?

Submitted my claim and received it within 14 days. Great Company. I'm always telling my friends and dog owners about this company.

Hi, I brought my dog into the vet to have a tumor removed because it was possibly malignant and to check his blood work for a reason to his weight loss. After the surgery the test were done thew total was in excess of $200.I filed the claim with ASPCA as I have been a client for over 6 years. I received a check for $9.60 .after I met the $100.00 deductable. Wow! what a great support system (not). The answer I received was if the dog had cancer then they would have payed for the lab test and the surgery. I will be getting another insurance not this one!

Healthy Paws was a life saver during the illness of our beloved mastiff, as they responded quickly with payment for the medical bills. But what was most impressive was the note of sympathy signed by their staff which i received soon after our dog's death. This is a kindness that will not be forgotten.

I will be happy when the month of February is over. Brought my 8 year old goldent to the emergency dog clinic on a Sunday evening because he had diarreah for over a day and after feeding pumpkin, then holding back food, it continued. Noticed smearing of blood so we were off to the clinic. Having experienced this several years ago, his spending a weekend at the clinic and almost losing him, I wasn't going to wait. Comprehensive blood profile was done with electrolytes, complete blood counts, cPL snap test...and all with good results. Pancreas checked out fine. He was given a shot to allow stomach to settle and bolus administered (underskin hydration) and then he was allowed to go home. Since he doesn't run loose in the yard unless we are out there, since there was no one visiting to have given him something and we were towards the end of bag of food, it was diagnosed as colitis due to stress. Several factors were considered as to contribution to the stress -- being at vets week before for eye mass removal surgery, anesthesia, wearing the dreaded e-collar and even maybe a nosework class. The Embrace claim was handled quickly w/o any issues. I have recommended Embrace to many of my friends and family. They are great.

We were watching what looked like a skin tag growing up off of my 8 yr old golden's lower left eyelid. I made an appointment with the vet when I noticed it seemed to be getting larger. Glad we did. That's when we found that he had a small mass growing below the eyelid. We made an appointment to have it removed via laser. All is now well and the area is healing. This was the second similar incident. He had something similar a couple years prior. The entire amount of the surgery was covered by my plan as was the previous one. Thank you Embrace. I honestly have to say that they have great customer service and help you whenever you need it! This will be my second time they have helped me make sure both of my princesses are in good medical condition without me having to worry about the medical cost which was a roughly a total of $5500! Yup, thats right wouthout them I wouldnt know what to do because they reimbursement me super-fast as well and maid it quick and painless. Also, on top of that they check up on them after to make sure they were feeling better. They made me feel like they care just as much about my babies as I do! I couldn’t be happier with Healthy Paws! I would recommend them to everyone! When I first was looking for insurance for my puppies I did my research and hoped I pick the right one and after my experience hands down I know Healthy Paws was the best choice I could of made! =)

I have a sweet Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who was born with bad knees. Long before we knew she had a knee problem, we took out Healthy Paws Insurance to cover the unknown (I'd only had cats before). Thankfully, it covered her problem and we were able to get her taken care of without worry of money. I did have all the vet records send ahead of time and called to make sure everything was in order. When it came time to file the claim, I had a check for almost $2000 without question and in about a week. They also wrote to check up and make sure she was doing good.
