My french bulldog Frankie, needed Emergency surgery for a blockage after eating a rubber toy. ASPCA was quick to process my claim and reimburse me. Their customer service department was extremely helpful as well. I would definitely recommend the accidental insurance, it was affordable and I was reimbursed a good amount.

When we first decided to get pet insurance, I did lots and lots of research. I was so wary about all of the companies I was looking at. The ones with the best payouts had not so great reviews. I came across Healthy Paws when I was looking through my AAA magazine, and was very pleased with all the positive customer service reviews I saw. Almost 2 years later, I want to add to those positive reviews. From the beginning they have been amazing. The spring following our sign up with Healthy Paws, Seamus began showing symptoms of allergies. He had to be tested, diagnosed, and put on a daily serum. None of this was any problem whatsoever. Every claim was processed and mailed out within 48 hours. There was never any surprises either. My latest experience is what really made me want to share my experience with Healthy Paws. About a week and a half ago Seamus began throwing up. At first it seemed like an upset stomach, but two days later he was in surgery. He had a piece of a toy stuck in his intestines that needed to be removed. He came home the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. That was when I used the Healthy Paws App to take a picture of the invoice and file my claim. Within an hour, I received an email that the claim was being processed. Tuesday, the check was in the mail. From what I've heard of other insurance companies, even if it wasn't a holiday weekend this turnaround time was fabulous. Everything was covered. I recently had to take my one year old dog to a pet hospital due to illness and the bill was over $1700 for an overnight stay, tests, meds and doctor fees. Embrace reviewed the claim and emailed me to inform me that they were going to reimburse 80% of the bill within a week of the claim submission. I am very happy and relieved to know that we don't have to carry the burden of wondering if we can afford to get the best care for our dog!

My french bulldog Lola has been covered by Healthy Paws since 2011, and I can't say enough good about them. If you truly love your pet you should get them coverage thru HP. Dont get caught off guard by unexpected accidents/illness and have to think about your checking account balance first before giving your best friend the care they deserve. They have seen her thru skin allergies to a recent hemilaminectomy which ran upwards of $8,000. Just look at the monthly fee as a savings account for their care. I recently signed up my rescued persian kitty grace, because I want her to have the same advantage that Lola has had and will continue to have. xoxo

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance is a FANTASTIC pet health insurance company! I have the plan with a $250 yearly deductible that then covers 90% of the FULL vet bill including all medicines except the office visit fee. The customer service is fantastic and caring also. I know I sound like a commercial but I cannot be more pleased. I insure my three dogs with Healthy Paws and I always share how great it is with all my pet owning friends! Several friends have switched to Healthy Paws and they are ALL very happy with the company also. Right now my youngest dog has a persistent skin infection on her inner rear leg and has needed ongoing expensive treatment. Every claim has been promptly and caringly approved. And, they even follow up with an email asking how she is doing. I wish my regular health insurance was as fast. My oldest dog is 12 and never has had a claim. But, I really do not mind paying the premium for all my dogs since I know that they are protected by a great insurance company. If they are ever sick, I know I only need to focus on their care since I have Healthy Paws! Thank you for being such a great company! Human health insurance companies can learn a lot from you!

Customer service at this company is good. When u call them they are very helpful.Unfortunately I have had to use this service a number of times in my puppy's short life, but so far they have covered every thing like they said at 90% . Thank goodness it looks like our dog is better now. Hopefully we won't need to use it again for a long while!

In November we brought home the love of our lives, Cali the English Bulldog! The first thing my father said to me was "are you going to get pet insurance"? With the English Bulldog breed they are susceptible to many health issues so it seemed like a no brainer to get insurance and go with Embrace. We have spent over $2500 at the vet since November and Embrace has covered 80% of those illness claims. They are timely with their refunds and keeping in touch with me regarding claims. I even have been in contact with Laura Bennett the CEO who personally looked into a second appeal claim for me and got me the refund! I couldn't be happier with Embrace as a whole. I am so happy to have them "have our backs" in case something goes wrong (God forbid) with our fur baby, Cali!!

My baby had a moment of naughtiness that sent him to the vet...he untucked my comforter and proceeded to chew on the thread that held it together. He ate quite a bit and then had some that was hanging from his mouth...all the way from his stomach! My vet fixed him up within a few days and I was so happy to learn his insurance would cover this...I get picked on all the time because he has insurance, just as a person would, but I had the last laugh when I was able to take him to the vet, get him the care he needed, and be able to afford the payment.
