My 18 year old cat, Liza, was diagnosed with ulcerations in her eyes and pancreatitis. After all the testing and curing, the bill was overwhelming to me. I quickly submitted the bills that totaled about $2400 and I was pleased that ASPCA Pet Insurance was just as quick to pay on the claims. I was pleased that they have a direct deposit set up so that the money went directly into my checking account and I was able to pay the credit card company quickly. Plus, I received a call back from two ASPCA Pet Insurance staffers to make sure that Liza was okay! Thank you so much for doing what you do best!!!!

Our first puppy for the family and my first puppy since I left for college. I selected Embrace to insure after comparing with 3 other companies. We insured for accident and illness and also signed up for the Wellness plan. Indie, our mini golden doodle had her first set of shots under the plan. They notified me by email that our Vet filed the claim and they paid as stated. Embrace was proactive. Thank you.

Our 5 month old baby French Bulldog Henry wasn't keeping any food down and losing weight rapidly. Within one week we racked up $1900 in vet bills between x-rays, blood work, ultrasound etc. To our dismay, it was only a food allergy and a double ear infection, but Healthy Paws asked no questions and within 10 business days we were cut a check for almost $1300!!! (Less our $100 deductible, 3 office visits and a RX food he was given) It gave us such a piece of mind that we would be reimbursed most of the out of pocket costs and that our baby who means the world to us will always have top notch medical care. Not only were they wonderful with the reimbursement process, I had made several phone calls during because this was my first claim and I wanted to make sure everything was received and they had all they needed. The customer service I experienced before, during and even after was the best I have ever seen. If only all companies had the same customer service as Healthy Paws, the world would be a much better place!

The turnaround time from the time I submitted a claim until I received a check was just under 2 weeks. They covered 90% minus my $500.00 deductable. I am truly happy with the service and recommend Trupanion to friends, family and strangers with animals.

Toby, my beloved 1 yr and 4 mo old chihuahua, ate something very bad. One morning he was straining terribly to go to the bathroom (with blood in his stool) and foaming and drooling at the mouth. I rushed him to the vet. The vet thought he may need emergency surgery, however, the ultrasound and X-rays did not show any major obstruction in his GI tract, so that was not necessary. But he was so sick he had to be hospitalized and on IV for two days. I was so nervous I would have done anything to get him better. It was never fully determined what he ate (a piece of a toy, something outside, etc.) to get him so ill. :( Less than a month after I got Toby Healthy Paws pet insurance, this happened. They were so helpful and caring in assisting me to process my first claim. Being my first claim and having to submit his entire health record, I was informed that it takes a longer for the first claim to process so I would be reimbursed within 7 to 10 days. They covered everything I was expecting to be covered and I did get reimbursed within that time frame. Healthy Paws saved me A LOT of money and was so supportive. They even contacted me to see how Toby was doing after I got reimbursed. I did my homework and by far this is the best pet insurance. You really have to read ALL the fine print when selecting a carrier. For instance, they cover tax (some others don't), and for a large bill that could be a big expense in itself. We have 2 elder cats who have had urinary problems, lymphoma, pancreatitis etc. and have carried ASPCA insurance for over 10 years to get some relief from the exorbitant veterinary bills. While we would have liked full refunds, which is an unreasonable wish, ASPCA insurance did cover some of the costs without giving us any problems.

Covers many areas that could become a problem with my puppy in the future. Reimbursement check came fast.

Very happy with the service to date! My dog has allergies and they have happily per approved allergy testing and covered the claim that I submitted. The customer service is excellent.
