Typical insurance company.
Do not recommend. Denied my first claim. I had a veterinary exam done for my dog approximately one month prior to signing up for this insurance they said that it was not necessary to get a exam done. After my first claim they change their tune is saying that he needed to have an exam done up to 15 days prior to any claim. I spoke to customer service and they said that I had not made phone calls to them which I had. They also claimed that the vets records said things that were not actually in the vets records. Typical insurance company.

Apeal Process was Handeled Fairly
I cannot say enough again about how happy I am that I chose Embrace to insure my Pooch! I recently discovered a large mass growing on the jaw bone of my Shitzu. The vet was able to remove the mass which was dificult to determine if it was cancerous or not when viewed by two oncologists. The claim was initially declined by Embrace as it was classified to be a dental procedure. The claim was later paid after a review of the case file requested on bahalf of my vet. Embrace handeled this case fairly, they are the best!

reimbursement deposit takes too long.
i recieve a email saying that i was gonna get my deposit in 2 days,is been 6 day's,im still waiting. but if you forget about doing your payment they send you a email saying that they gonna cancel your policy.

So glad I made this choice!
Healthy Paws so far has proven to be an excellent choice for my pet's insurance needs. The rates are fair and they are extremely efficient in paying out claims. You can upload bills directly on their site and the claims are paid within 3-4 days. They also sent out an email inquiring about my pet's condition after I submitted a bill for a growth removal and biopsy. I was surprised and happy to know that they care about clients.

Healthy Paws is INVALUABLE!!!!!
Best thing we ever did was to purchase Healthy Paws insurance for our dog, Jake. He had to have x-rays and meds for a hurt paw. My vet submitted the claim and Healthy Paws kept me advised of the status throughout the process. Easy as pie and received 90% of payment the next week. It truly does pay for itself. I tell all my friends with pets that they are crazy not to purchase this. Jake also has a skin condition and Healthy Paws pays for his monthly medication. Simply cant go wrong. And to top it off....best customer service ever!!!!!!

the worst
Find excuses not to pay anything and everything. Accepted a 7 year old showdog, not neutered, now refuse to pay for emergency surgery for life threatening illness (pyometra) because she was not neutered by age one. That was after they said it was because she was (1)a service dog (she is not) then they tried (2) breeding dog (she is not). Letter submitted by vet explaining necessity for surgery. Really bad company.

GREAT Company. The best!
From the signing up, customer service, claims process and payouts everything about Healthy Paws has been nothing short of perfect. They take the time to talk with you and help you get the paperwork from the vet. They pay the claims as promised, quickly!
I recommend them to everyone! I have a french Bulldog and they have their issues and I feel comfortable with healthy Paws. This is my only experience with pet insurance, but so far it has been good. I choose HP based on the review on this site when we got our frenchie and I am happy I did.

Worth every penny - don't hesitate!
My mini wire hair dachshund was in the hospital with seizures for close to a week. This was my first claim and knowing full well the bureaucratic drudgery of people health insurance, honestly, I dreaded it. But the process could not have been simpler, easier, or faster. And the customer service is off the charts. They could not be nicer, every one.
