For the first time, I have bought insurance for my new puppy. Pets Best has excellent service and their staff is extremely professional whenever I have questions about a claim or about my policy.

We knew up front that our dog Jasmine's surgery had exceeded the plan maximum but everything we could get back towards the expense helped. The total cost to us was over 5k and the plan maximum was 1500. In general we always exceed what the plan considers "reasonable costs" which is usually disappointing but we expect it. I was pleasantly surprised at how easily and quickly our claim was processed. I was expecting 4-6 weeks but the majority of items were processed within 2 weeks. The only delayed item was due to the surgery center's delay in responding to ASPCA. Everything was very easy we submitted the claim and all paperwork online and within a few days got an email letting us know everything had been processed then a few days later we received our reimbursement. We even got a follow up call from the ASPCA to see how Jasmine was doing and to see if we were satisfied with the claim process.

Our beloved Moustachio was diagnosed with feline lymphoma and had to undergo a series of tests. As difficult as the situation was, it was made easier by the fact that we didn't worry about whether we could afford Moustachio's care. The doctors did what they needed to do, and we had the reimbursement money back in our account within a week. It is wonderful not having to worry about whether an insurance company will pay their claims or not. Pet owners with sick pets have enough stress as it is. I am very grateful to Pet's Best for giving us peace of mind, and allowing for us to provide for our pet's health care needs without breaking the bank.

Fortunately, I have not had to submit a claim for Tasha this past year. Pet's Best Insurance is very good to work with on an administrative level. You are given 30 to 45 days' notice before your policy expires along with your renewal rate which gives you ample time to decide. I checked out so many other insurance companies and Pet's Best, by far, offered the best coverage at a reasonable rate.

I was pleased to get something back from my vet visit because my cat fell from 8 feet and hurt her back. I was paid back for everything but the X-ray. The insurance company said the xray was not needed but, as a pet lover, I wanted to know that she only had a slipped disc and not a broken back. Still, this is the only time she has had an accident in 11 years and it was nice getting some of the vet bill paid.

We've had Pets Best insurance for 3 years on our little Golden, Graham. Graham developed hip displaysia when he was about 2 and a half and I don't know what we would have done without Pets Best. Treatment was $980 per hip and both of Graham's hips were affected--our total bill was $2,300!! We filed the claim the day after the surgery and were PAID TWO DAYS LATER. The reimbursement was direct deposited directly into our account! Honestly, Pets Best couldn't be truer to name. They are HANDS DOWN the best.

Having been routinely seriously abused and screwed by VPI (the most horrible, shockingly nasty pet insurer in the world) I was surfing the net one day trying desperately to get RID of said company, when I found a non-profit site for animal rescue on which there was a link to "Healthy Paws Pet Insurance"!! Imagine my delight! By I went into the link with more than a little wariness (remember, an abused person has lost nearly all faith in goodness).... It all sounded too good to be true. They were not only a pet insurance organization, but they support animal rescue and had so many perfect reviews...I had to know more. I called and spoke to the kindest woman, who assured me they were all that and a bag of chips....still wary, I signed up online and that, as they say, was all she wrote for me. That was four years ago and since then, I've been MADLY in love with Healthy Paws! No, that is not an overstatement or an exaggeration. These people who comprise this organization are the most wonderful, loving, supportive and responsive crew I've ever been exposed to as a pet loving adult seeking insurance for said family members... I didn't have a claim for a long time and then our beloved mini Schnauzer passed away suddenly (the vet suspected an embolism in the night) and our cat was bereft. I was looking for major health coverage for my two Shih Tzu's at 4 months of age. I didn't take wellness or drug coverage.At 14 months, my female got sick and was diagnosed with congenital liver problems. After a $6,000 plus major surgery I was thankful I purchased the insurance. Embrace paid promptly and fairly for the coverage I purchased. The deductible you choose is important. I got a $300 deductible and didn't reach it for the healthy dog, but just the diagnostic tests for the sick one was over $400!
