No loyalty to customers
I was with HEALTHY PAWS pet insurance for 10 years, they processed my claims, while raising the premiums every year with no problems. I called to let them know my boy had to be euthanized (age 12) for health reasons, they told me the euthanasia would be covered, to file my claim the day after. I filed the claim and cancelled the insurance as told. It's been two weeks since I've filed, I just received an email saying they were working on the euthanasia claim, and asked "please let us know how Dominic is doing". Really....just goes to show how sympathetic and caring they are, asking me how my deceased boy is. I work at an animal shelter and always recommended HEALTHY PAWS, not anymore. I'm so disappointed

Simple and trustworthy
It’s all ways easy with Trupanion! My dog has chronic issues that require monthly medications. But the money is back in my bank account within days of uploading the invoice. Every time, without question!

Trupanion makes a complicated process easy! All three of my dogs are insured and all future ones will be as well! I had a problem last week and Meredith helped me solve it quickly!

My claim for in grown claws was declined based on vet mentioning my dig had claws growing towards pad during 30 day waiting period.
My claim for in grown claws was declined based on vet mentioning my dig had claws growing towards pad during 30 day waiting period. Completely unacceptable. All dogs have claws growing towards their pads. This is not a reason to deny a claim for a future claw problem. I’ll likely be moving to a better insurance soon. I will also be posting my negative review on as many websites as possible to let others know how bad your product is

Great pet insurance option, easy claims process
I've been a client of Healthy Paws Pet Insurance for 3+ years now, and have always had a great experience with them. Their claim process is super easy to submit on their website, and they have always reimbursed me quickly and without any issues. I see that others have complained about rates going up. Mine has only gone up nominally a couple of months ago and is absolutely expected as the cost of everything is going up these days.
