I have an 8 year old Weimaraner named Captain. He developed a hematoma in his right ear. I took him to the vets and surgery was recommended. They said it would take 6 weeks to heal. It was quite a long 6 weeks,he was bandaged and very uncomfortable throughout his healing time. He had to be prevented from shaking his ear. The whole process was expensive and agravating! The only bonus was that Trupanion kept up with his dignosis and charges and notified me of everything. After it was over, I was reimbursed all monies over my deductable. It was simple and fast with hardly any effort on my part. I would recomend Trupanion to anyone with a pet because life will throw you a curve when you least expect or can afford it.

THEY MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE A FAMILY TO BE WITH. SINCE I HAVE MY DOGS THEY WHERE HEALTHY BUT TIME CATCHES UP WITH ALL OF US. MY ONE DOG SUFFERED HEARTWORM AND WAS SAVED AND RECENTLY MY OTHER DOGS LEG KEPT POPPING OUT OF ITS JOINT AND HAD SURGERY. THE COST OF THE LEG SURGERY ALONE WAS OVER $1,600 THE PLAN PAID AT 90% LESS MY DEDUCTABLE AND THE INITIAL DOCTORS VISIT. I PAY FOR A $50 DEDUCTABLE PROGRAM PAYING 90% AND IS MOST HAPPY. IT IS COSTLY BUT WHEN THE CHIPS ARE DOWN I'M SO GLAD I HAVE HEALTHY PAWS. THEY DO NOT COVER NORMAL DOCTORS VISITS OR PREVENTIVE CARE. SOME DAY I WISH THEY WOULD START A ADD ON PROGRAM THAT INCLUDES THIS ALSO. IF YOU LOVE YOUR PETS AND WANT GREAT COVERAGE FOR HOSPITALIZATION,OPERATIONS,MEDICINES THIS IS THE COMPANY FOR YOU.

Almost all of us have personal health insurance. Why can't the process and people, that administer OUR health insurance be as caring and helpful as our dogs insurer is?Our registered Therapy Dog, Bentley, is a Cavachon, (Bichon and Cavalier mix) and is almost 4 years old.
