OK, so, granted, I chose Trupanion and they have reimbursed us a lot of money for our dog that suffers sever allergies. And that has been good. They have a direct deposit for claims and claims are handled very quickly. Another good thing about them. We have 2 dogs, one is young the other not. Our biggest gripe is They ONLY cover dental extractions, so the anesthesia and cleanings are always out of pocket, though cleanings prevent extractions, so go figure. Customer Service is cheerful as long as everything goes quickly and smoothly. Also, often the reps talk at you. Like a car salesman, they don't really want to slow down and hear the customer. connecting to a client is good, but if the rep does not sympathize, that;s fine, just don't make the client feel like they're wasting your time. As soon as a problem arises, they become curt and rush you off the phone. not cool.

I bought the ASPCA insurance with a Wellness rider and have been very satisfied with the coverage and immediate reimbursement. Having this insurance brings piece of mind especially when the unxpected hits.

Happy to report that Button, our rescue Yorkshire terrier, is on the mend and feeling his old perky self! Button had eaten a non-skid rug and within two weeks of this incident, he was in the animal hospital twice for vomiting, lethargy and diarreha. We were worried sick. According to the Vet at the animal hospital, the little guy seems to have a very sensitive tummy and can be allergic to any kind of food that flies -- so he banned from turkey, duck and chicken. We were very worried dog parents while he was recovering in the animal hospital--he was a very sick little guy. He is now on a very strict limited ingredient diet. I am so thankful to have the peace of mind of having Healthy Paws pet insurance. In my mind, I never wanted to make a decision for a sick dog (especially one with a lot of living ahead of him) based upon high veterinary costs and care. I have the 90% reimbursement (after a $500 yearly deductible) and the insurance does not cover Vet exams (small cost in my book). The Vet bill was over $1700 for once overnight stay with x-rays. In Button's care, having this insurance this was comforting when I was presented with a vet bill that could put a family into debt. Your reimbursement of the claim was prompt, and customer care is great. I have been talking to a lot of pet parents, and it seems that I made a good decision with Healthy Paws as health care insurance for my Button! Healthy Pause reimbursed for the majority of our puppy's procedures and did so extremely quickly. They even checked in shortly thereafter to see how he was feeling (our vet didn't even follow up)!We joked that we'd like to sign ourselves up for pet insurance if only they'd cover humans! The service is wonderful. There was no additional stress added to a very stressful experience.

Healthy Paws has been a life saver for us. We have two adopted dogs, and both have undergone very expensive surgeries for emergencies (totaling thousands of dollars). Trupanion is awesome. My cat (an 11 year old american short hair) has congestive heart failure. Trupanion has covered most of my claims relating to my cat's condition. I am so glad I signed up my cat for insurance with Trupanion.
