In their leaflet, Trupanion talks about how they won't deny coverage just because a dog is unlucky. Unfortunately, I have that previously unlucky dog. But Fortunately, and thanks to Trupanion, my pug has become incredibly lucky and happy and healthy. I am eternally GRATEFUL to the honest and wonderful people at Trupanion for the extensive coverage they provided. My pug is awesome now an looks like a puppy again, and everyone on the streets of NYC comments on that. Trupanion covered everything they promised to, did so cheerfully, and quickly. Amazing. I implore everyone who gets a dog to get insurance. If you can afford a dog, you can afford insurance, and it's the right thing to do. And if you do, please give Trupanion a serious look. They're amazing.

My Golden Retriever suddenly became lame on his right rear leg on New Year's Eve (figures it would be a holiday). I brought him to the vet on Jan 2nd thinking he had broken a toe, but it turned out he had a rapidly spreading infection that had already infiltrated the bone. He had an x-ray, antibiotic injection, blood tests, and was sent home with antibiotics & several supplements to help clear the infection and support his immune system.The vet's office faxed the claim to Trupanion that afternoon, and that same evening I received an email from Trupanion saying they would send the money to my bank account within a few days. Same day service! They covered 90% of everything (less the deductible & physical exam)- they even covered the supplements that the vet sent him home with. This company is phenomenal! I have a dog business & routinely talk to my clients about their pet health insurance & it is clear that Trupanion is the best, hands down. After hearing of my past experience with Trupanion, quite a number of clients have signed on or switched over from other pet insurance companies. I am so happy to have this health insurance for my dog! I only wish my own health insurance company was as good. Thank you Trupanion!

I have 9 cats & 1 dog, Peace of mind knowing if they get sick, I can get the care they need. They call to check how my pets are coming along, they pay all claims promptly and answer all my questions. I would highly recommend their coverage to everyone.

Healthy paws was great with the whole process. They even emailed me asking how steele was. Almost all of my bill was covered and they did it very fast. Btw steele is doing great now!

healthy paws has been our insurance company since we got our rescue puppy six months ago. and in that time, our dog has undergone x-rays, ultrasounds, mass removals, and countless probes, check-ups, and antibiotics cycles. we expected much of this to actually not be covered by healthy paws. but once we'd gotten beyond our deductible, they've gone above and beyond. we are always reimbursed the percentage we've agreed on, and have saved literally thousands of dollars. the process for submitting claims is simple, answers are fast, and checks arrive in the mail that same week more often than not. and they follow up, asking how your animal is doing. it's the best experience we could imagine, and i recommend them to everyone we meet.

Our little Yorkie scared us so badly when his belly expanded to the point we thought his tummy skin was going to burst! We rushed him to a 24 Hr. Emergency Vet office on a weekend night, and they drained 2 liters of liquid out of his belly. Made him feel so much better but still needed testing and care, which our wonderful Vet Doc took care of. However the cost was really up there, but at the time, that really didn't matter. We were just so concerned with our Mickey. However, once he was better, and Christmas was upon us, spending the money we did was really putting a strain on our budget. We are retired with 6 grandkids nearby, and decided we would not let the tight budget stop us from having a great Christmas with our grandkids. We would have to work out the cost when the bills came in January. But Pets Best was there to help! True to their word, they covered a large portion of our Vet bills! Within 10 days of filing our claims, which covered almost 2 weeks of Vet visits and treatments, Pets Best came through with their advertised claim reimbursement. I was able to scan and email all of my vet bills for the 7 different Vet visits and treatments, and Pets Best covered 80% after our $100 deductible. They were GREAT!! The money was back in our bank account within 2 days of notification. They are super professional, so helpful in filing a claim, and informed me of a couple of problems they were having with getting the actual Vet records sent to them. All around an easy process to send the claim in, and the speed with which it was handled was amazing. Thanks so much to everyone at Pets Best. We are so happy we signed up with YOU 7 years ago!
