Have had healthy paws for years, would recommend them in the past. Then my dog developed a chronic condition, and they are DOUBLING his premium. DOUBLING. requiring 177.00 a month just to insure him. And of course now I cannot go to another company because it is pre-existing. And their response is " well, the claims in the state have gone up". DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY. CALL TRUPANION.

They have been prompt and responsive.
They have been prompt and responsive. It's clear what they cover. I only wish that they covered wellness visits and preventive care. Like humans, if prevention and wellness are established and maintained, there is generally less need for major health issues.

Compassion and supportive
My little lady of 14 years died this past August and when I called Trupanion they immediately answered all my questions and was there to help in my time of need.

Lightening speed and very fair claim processing.
My 1.5 year old dog just ended up with an overnight stay at a hospital for something he swallowed. Healthy Paws not only accurately and quickly (less than 24 hours) processed my claim, but refunded me the money in about 2 days. They are better than my regular health insurance. They even followed up to see how my dog was doing.

Don’t waste your money
It’s not the process but rather the coverage. At $90 a month and after paying for almost almost 5 years without a single claim, you don’t cover an appointment related to a lump? I will never recommend. I doubt you will ever pay a claim. What a rip off. Feel free to contact me however I doubt this will even be read or whether anyone even cares to hear this feedback.
