Our pup was hit by a car and has required extensive care. I submitted our claims and it took the full 30 days before a decision was made. I was very happy with the end result, but the anxiety of waiting on the claim decision was terrible. I will say that once the initial claim was approved, the following claims related to the incident were approved the same day. However, about 30 days later we discovered another terrible injury relating back to the initial incident. Its been almost three weeks and the anxiety on waiting for that claim decision is back at an all time high.

Smokey, my yorky, had a bout of diarrhea. Luckily it was nothing serious, but because of Nationwide I was able to appropriately test and treat him. He now is free from diarrhea and is happy and healthy again.

Pet insurance is like all insurance. You are paying a premium that may or may not be used, but that can be very beneficial when a serious condition possibly could arise! The peace of mind of having coverage that can assist in taking care of unexpected illness or accident is very valuable to many of us pet owners. I will continue to have this insurance, and hope that we will not have to use it! But in the possible event that it is needed, we have the peace of mind that we are covered by one of the best insurance companies in the world!

Filing a claim is fast and easy. Always receive a response in a timely manner. I've never had a problem.

Everything is easy to submit and claims are processed in a prompt manner.

Our cat had an unexpected illness that required emergency overnight care. Embrace gave us the peace of mind to know we could afford treatment. Our kitty is doing much better and our claim has been processed as expected. We had to make one additional call to Embrace after submitting our claim to iron out an issue, but the folks on the phone were responsive and corrected the error quickly.

Coverage and reimbursement is really helpful but it can take a while to get enrolled and start processing claims. Also has pre-existing condition exclusion and is not valid outside of North America, which might not make it a good fit for some of my friends and family.
