I am satisfied with the service and they process the claims very quickly. They are also very helpful with billing issues and explaining details when I have questions about my available policy options. I wish the premiums didn't keep increasing because I have 2 dogs on my policy. Nevertheless, I am still thankful to have the insurance and would recommend it to all pet owners.

We have had pet insurance for our French bulldog since he was three months old. He has had one major surgery (brachycephalic airway surgery) and also a major ear infection caused by skin allergies. Both of these health issues would have cost us thousands of dollars out of pocket. Trupanion's coverage has saved us a ton of money. They pay their claims very quickly (usually I get a response within a day or two of the vet submitting the receipt and payment by check two weeks later) and we have never had an issue with getting reimbursed for his health issues. My one complaint with Trupanion is that their annual premium hikes are extremely high. We had the same rate for our first two years of coverage and as our policy is set to renew, our premium has increased by over twenty percent!! They claim that this is because of rising healthcare costs in our state (NY), but we haven't certainly noticed those level of increases. We would recommend Trupanion, but buyer should beware that your premiums can increase quite dramatically from year to year. For a dog prone to health issues like a French bulldog, pet insurance is an absolute must.

My dog had back surgery 3 years ago and the claims were handle quickly now he has cancer and they have paid out quickly also

Trupanion in great. My mini Schnauzer got bit by another dog (my dog got out of gate and ran up to a dog on a leash, so sort of my fault). Deep punctures on snout and back of neck. Ran to the emergency room - $900 later all is well with my mini, and trupanion covered 90% of the vet bill, no questions! Glad I had them!

First I would like to say I have never written a review for any product or company, but after my experience with Healthy Paws Pet Insurance I was compelled to do so. My English bulldog tore the tendons in both his knees and needed major surgery.The staff at Healthy Paws were kind courteous and caring .The claim was completed in less then a week ,this company is everything it says it is and more. My dog Charley is 7-1/2. We've had him with ASPCA since he was 8 weeks old. ASPCA has seen us through some tough times for Charley. This year Charley had to have surgery on both his hind legs when his tendons tore. Again ASPCA helped defray the costs. I've never had a single problem filing or receiving payment for a claim be it for annual checkups or major surgery.

Our beloved golden retriever has a unusual diagnosis of Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth. She takes an antibiotic every day to enable her to digest her food properly. She has been licking herself a bit obsessively lately so she's made several visits the last few months. Embrace has covered all of her expenses without any problems. I wish the health insurance for us was as easy!
