as always pets best insurance makes it easy and quick to file claims..They have always been responsive to questions or claims submitted to them. Coverage is clearly covered in their explanations and their reps are pleasant to speack with.

All I can say is thank you so much. I rescued two Italian Greyhounds and wanted to make sure all shot and every thing they needed was done. They have been chipped, shots, teeth and all and this insurance was worth every penny. My check from Embrace was sent in a timely manner and I was so pleased with the help I received from their staff when I send the paperwork in. This insurance is as important as insurance for my self. We have always carried pet health insurance for all our dogs. Our claim history with Zuzu our 9 yr old mixed dachshund is scarce as we really had no terrible incidents, thank God. However I am very scare of that renewal clause in which any illness during a policy period will be considered a pre-existing condition, after certain age we all including pets develop arthritis etc. In Zuzu's case arthritis is the issue. If the insurance carrier offers a guaranteed coverage for an additional fee, this offer has a minimal disclosure, just to make sure that the majority of people will not even notice it. It is unfortunate that pet insurance is so deceiving and unregulated, pet owners consider their pets as their children and after years of paying for costly insurance premiums is heartbreaking to find yourself financing out of pocket your pet's medical needs. I intend to review all the pet insurance carriers in the market when my renewal approaches.

I have had Healthy Paws for my English Bulldog for approximately 3 years now and could not be happier! It is super easy to file a claim via email and they process claims lightening fast.. sometimes the same day! My poor baby has had a rough couple of years between knee surgeries and recurring pneumonia and they are the only reason my husband and I have been able to see to it that our baby is getting the care he needs! I first purchased pet insurance from ASPCA for my cocker spaniel. She contracted a serious disease and we were unable to save her. ASPCA was very compassionate about the illness and they wonderful in completing my claim. When I rescued my present dog, the first thing I did was enroll her in this insurance program. Unfortunately we had to use the coverage twice since we got her and ASPCA promptly addressed the claims. I would recommend them to all pet owners. The policy provides some peace of mind and financial assistance for costly I'll less expenses.

My dog somehow got into rodenacide (rat poison) and became very ill. I immediately took her to the hospital and we began treatment to save her. The bill quickly became very high and thanks to healthy paws I didn't even have to think about it! I'll pay for the peace of mind to save our furry family member!!

Several years ago we adopted a yorkie female that was 3 years old. Within 3 months of adopting her she developed some problems that resulted in us having to have her put down after we exhausted over $5000 of our savings trying to save her. At that very moment I swore I would never own a pet without insurance so that I am not in a situation where finances make the decision of life or death. Insurance may not have made a difference in the final outcome, but I certainly would have been able to do much more. 2 years ago, we purchased a yorkie puppy. The day I brought home I purchased Trupanion for his protection and my piece of mind. Just recently we made our first claim. Bailey "stole" a bone without our knowledge and ate the entire thing! It appears that tiny pieces of it lodged in his digestive track and made him very sick. We had a policy with zero deductable and 90% coverage and I was so much more comfortable knowing money would never be an issue in his treatment decisions. We were fortunate that we have an excellent vet and we were able to clear his situation without surgery and he made a full recovery. We were reimbursed by Trupanion within 10 days of his discharge. The staff at Trupanion were attentive to us and did everything possible to insure that we recieved speedy claim service. I highly recommend it!
