Not only has the financial assistance for treatments been a relief, but the interface with the hospitals in terms of direct payments has taken away the responsibility for dealing with the reimbursement process. Everything regarding payment for services, including insurance reimbursement, is done before leaving the doctors office. Amazing!

I'm glad the Vet Tech knew Trupanion
I looked at the policy literature and did not believe that my dog's surgery was a covered expense. Luckily the vet tech put in the claim for me and it was actually covered. If I hadn't said anything, they wouldn't have done that and I wouldn't have been reimbursed.
