I put in a claim 16 days ago and it has said processing for the last 14 days...not to sure what the hold up is....first claim and it was just for a regular check up by the vet. There customer service hours are not very accommodating for the people who work during the day. So we will see how much longer we have to wait for such a simple claim.

After years of spending literally 10's of thousands of dollars on my fur babies, I finally smartened up and got insurance on my dogs as soon as I adopted them. After my "good dog" got sick and I discovered he had eaten many plastic bags, I finally put this insurance to the test. My dog had to have a barium study and an endoscopy to retrieve another bag still in his stomach! I will say I am quite please. After my deductible, all I had to pay was 20% of the bill. This amounted to almost $1500 of a $1900 bill! I highly recommend this insurance to anyone who wants to be able to provide veterinary care to their sick or injured pet.

My dog ate a rock! There was probably food on it, we were in the park. I sensed he wasn't right and took him to the vet, they immediately did an exray and saw it, lying in his tummy. The surgery was a big one, recovery long. ASPCA sent me a check probably in 3 weeks. The surgery and care was 3,500.00 the insurance covered way more than half! It was a pleasant surprise for such a horrible time for us, we could have lost him. I recommend ASPCA insurance to everyone who has a pet, and just about everyone I know does! Thank you, and they even called to see how my little guy was doing.

Our cane corso injured his leg and over the course of treatment we discovered that he actually had a torn ACL, which resulted in needing a very expensive surgery. From the moment we started submitted our invoices, Healthy Paws has been nothing but fast, responsive and reliable. There is no way we could have afforded to pay for this surgery without them. It is so nice to have peace of mind that we can give our dog the best care possible.
