My Tabby Wilma
My cat got sick, I was not sure what was wrong but she was lethargic and was not eating. I took her to the vet (I finally found one that is caring and honest)she recovered and I submitted the bills and got reimbursed quicker than I ever thought and it was pretty simple to do, no muss no fuss. I checked the status online and bam the money came in the mail. It was that simple. Frankly I was quite skeptic of this as I heard some stories around but this company made me loose all my fears. I believe there might be a waiting period before you can claim, but I'm not sure. I have that with my private humana dental insurance (you have to wait a year before you can use it) but I don't think its not the case with Embrace, they just check prior illness and if the pet has had it within the same year its not covered I believe but that's mostly the same with all private insurances mostly. Any way I think this company was one of my best decisions I have made regarding being overly pre-pared as I tend to be sometimes. Buy it you wont be sorry.

Very supportive process
We have been Pets Best customers for 8 years. Every time we submitted a claim or needed information, the customer service was outstanding. It was very reassuring to know we wouldn't have to make difficult healthcare decisions for our fur child based on cost.

Beyond belief!!!
I simply cannot say enough good things about this company. I have never had pet insurance before, but when I adopted my beautiful little dog, something in the back of my mind said to get it. I researched companies, not liking the one the adoption people "recommended", and found Healthy Paws. I couldn't really believe it would work the way they said, but it DOES!!! I am a physician, myself, and know all the tricks most insurance companies play to avoid paying a claim. NONE of these were true of Healthy Paws.
I was in an absolute panic when my little dog began limping, and when I was told she had to have surgery, I almost collapsed. Finances were the last thing I could think about! But, reality set in and I reluctantly filed the claim. I honestly expected it to be denied for one reason or another. Imagine my surprise when they not only approved it - within DAYS!!! - but wrote the check the same week! And, they are even going to help pay for her rehab!
Every step of they way, they have sent encouraging messages, followed her progress, even cheering us along with her weight loss - badly needed for her full recovery.
Their policy of considering the office visit and routine care as the owner's responsibility is COMPLETELY reasonable. And, the choice of deductibles and percentage of costs covered allows ME to chose my level of risk. I wish human health insurance could be this easy. If Healthy Paws ever decides to offer human insurance, I will be first in line to sign up!

Pleasant & Helpful Staff
I have had very good experience with ASPCA Pet Insurance. The staff is always very pleasant and helpful and my claims have always been processed adequately. I even received a follow-up call to inquire how my pet was doing! I also like the fact that they accept the vet's invoice and doesn't require me to have to take it back for the vet to fill out the claim form and then make another trip back to pick it up. Thank you for your excellent service!

Five Star
This insurance has been a God send for me and Thor. Since bringing home my beautiful German Shepherd puppy six years ago, Thor has been plagued with health issues. Thankfully I made the decision to enroll him with Trupanion since puppy hood. They have paid all his claims without a problem. Well worth every dime. Their claims staff is also very helpful when I've had to call with questions. Will always recommend Trupanion.

Absolutely the best!
Simply put, I can't put into words my appreciation for Healthy Paws. My little girl "Bootsy" went through a pretty rough few weeks where I thought I actually might lose her. Not only did Healthy Paws handle the claim quickly, but they followed up with a letter checking up on how she was doing. Although that may seem like a little thing, the gesture meant a lot, especially while I was racked with worry during her recovery. Service and professionalism to the highest standard. I wish my personal health insurance was this good!

Broken Tibia
Our first frenchie has Trupanion, but premiums increased substantially for our Puppy. So we turned to Embrace and we are so thankful we did. Our 6 month old Frenchie pup broke his tibia in a freak accident and Embrace was there immediately. After the $300 deductible they literally covered 90% of the accident. Not sure what we would have done had we not had them considering the accident cost was upwards of 6k. The one caveat is you have to be able to float everything up front. The first reimbursement took about a month, but then they started rolling in about 2/3 weeks.
