very pleas and very happy
my little girl she is 10 years old had some eye problems after the doctors visitation -they did some exam, tests and give us medication for home, i send the claim to Embrace but because of my deduction on the ins. they refund only 20% of the amount of $237.00 that was only $ 42.00.I was not very happy because they say that they refund 80% but after the second visitation to the vet after giving us a medication again and found a small pus under her skin and cleared the bill was $ 100.77 i send the claim immediately and this time i received the %80 from the bill which was $77.00.Thank you Embrace insurance for helping us to take care of our baby's.

dog ate raisins emergency
rushed doggie to vet ER after i realized she found a small box of raisins which could cause kidney failure and death to a dog.claim took a few days longer than usual. for 2 yrs it takes less than 1 week to get reimbursed. this time it took more time.at least they sent me check less deductible and ER emergency fee

Outstanding
Although we have only been with Trupanion for a short time - when our puppy Bruno had a issue - we are so appreciative of your service and quick response. He's recovering surgery and doing well. We plan to be a long term client and look forward to have our other pets insured through Trupanion

Fan Mail for an Insurance Company?
I can't believe I would ever be raving about an insurance company. When my beloved 24-year-old cat (yes, 24!) Sydney was diagnosed with a malignant breast tumor, I was devastated. There were numerous diagnostic tests and a rush into surgery. The bills mounted up. Trupanion was right there by my side through the whole process. They made filing a claim unbelievably easy and, at this incredibly difficult time, they thankfully did almost all the work themselves. E-mail exchanges were easy and encouraging and payment was immediate. My only gripe with this company is that I cannot rate them higher than a 10. (BTW, Sydney had a great surgery, tumor encapsulated with no spread, back at home, happy as ever.)

LOVE UR DOG..MAKE SURE HE IS INSURED
my dog was recently in the emergency room she wouldnot stop vomiting blood. i had never been so scared before. she wouldnot stop losing blood. thank god vets took care inmediately as soon as i got there. yes, bills are extremely expensive and accidents happens in 2 seconds. all those hours i was only focused on making sure she was receiving the best care possible. she was extremely dehydrated, had lost too much blood but thank god the vet stabilized her and she is home with me now getting better. the day after, i uploaded a picture of the invoice and medical records and in less than 2 days they had processed my claim. then, the week following she had her follow up appointment. i scanned them the receipt and in less than 30 min the claim was processed. i could not be happier. my little girl was getting better and healthy paws always taking care of claims as fast as they can. I honestly could not be happier with them, not only do they process everything fast. but they also keep with touch with you asking how is your dog doing and sending her their best wishes. if you are considering pet insurance, healthy paws is in my humble opinion your best option.

Beware of per-incident plans!!
Our beloved Cattle Dog Caper was diagnosed with bladder cancer. The cost for chemotherapy added up quickly, and Pet Partners would not pay for any alternative treatment (Caper got acupuncture every week). The maximum amount insured was $13,000. However, since the per-incident amount was only $5,000, Pet Partners (AKC) was not willing to cover the continued treatment for Caper.
Although we still had $8,000 (!!) to cover medical expenses, we were not able to use a single cent for Caper. Pet Partner told me that they would "gladly" pay for the treatment if Caper broke a leg, but not for his cancer treatment.
I wished I would have known all that before I let them talk me into a - very expensive - health insurance for my sweet companion.
Stay away fom AKC - Pet Partners..!!!
