If your pet isn’t 100% healthy, then don’t waste your money like I did. I thought I was getting a solid peace of mind for my pet, it didn’t happen. Years of paying for a service that denied 2 claims based on the same pre-existing condition. The second denial was the hardest as an appeal was made and they dug until they could re-deny it again. I say, save the monthly fee in the bank, earn interest and you’ll have the money for your Vet bills. This will be my future plan.

The people at Trupanion were so very helpful and caring. They are t me all the forms I needed and listened to me as I vented my tale of woe about my baby. The check came to me before I even got the bill from my credit card company. I highly recommend Trupanion to all of my friends and even strangers I meet on the street. Without their coverage, we would never be able to give our dogs the care they need and deserve!

When i took out pet insurance, I never thought I'd be neefing it three months later! One of my dogs swallowed a piece if toy and needed immediate surgery. The peace of mind knowing that whatever tests needed to be done, the surgery and post op would be covered under insurance was comforting. I want the best treatment for all my pets and Healthy Paws allowed this.

My lab mix Zoe developed a rare tumor on her anus. I thought it was from scooting at first & then had her anal glands expressed. The vet found the tumor & removed it in a timely fashion before it could develop into anything more serious. I sent in a claim and was reimbursed proportionately for the vet bill which was in the thousands.
