My silky terrier recently has had two fairly serious procedures, knee surgery and removal of a cyst. Both times embrace processed my claim quickly and covered the vet expenses as outlined in the insurance plan (80%). I highly recommend them to all pet owners who would spend whatever was necessary to heal their pet.

Trupanion is the third company I have used. It is by far the best. Pays 90% per occurence with no deductible. Turnaround time after claim is faxed is less than 2 weeks. There are no exclusions for preexisting conditions or hereditary diseases.

In the beginning I was a little skeptical about insuring my pets. EmbracePetInsurance has been very helpful and patient with my calls and many times explained the items I could not understand. I had two shelties. One died unexpectedly . I received cards and letters from Embrace. I got a new puppy (shelty) named Lady Pinky and reinsured with Embrace. Now I have Lady and Tramp. I took my dog to the vet because he had been sneezing and I was shocked to learn that he had nasal cancer. I was told without treatment, he would have 3 months to live. Or I could opt for the very expensive treatment and he would have a few more years. So far the vet bills have been over $13k, and there have been no hold ups or issues with the Embrace insurance at all. They even are covering acupuncture and herbal treatments. It's easier to use than my personal health insurance. I highly recommend Embrace.

My kitten, Freddy, has been insured with Healthy Paws since December. This is my first experience with a pet insurance company. Freddy developed a problem recently which required a visit to the vet and some lab work, X-rays, and an echocardiogram. I submitted the claims about a week ago, and today I received the checks from Healthy Paws for these claims. Healthy Paws is extremely efficient. They provided excellent communication regarding the status of the claims, and I promptly received the reimbursement checks. I'm happy to recommend Healthy Paws to anyone as it's a great company and wonderful to deal with, and that's difficult to find nowadays.

My 8 year old blue healer went in for a routine check up and after a sonna gram it was discovered he had a mass on his spleen and adrenaline gland both were removed by surgery and he made a full recovery thanks to embrace I did not have to worry about the cost of his medicial expenses.
