Phenomenal Insurance
After Maia had an emergency issue eating a toy at five months old, we realized she probably needed insurance. And it has been the best experience! There is never any hassle when it comes to submitting claims, whether for emergency visits for ear infections or her heart worm medicine with the preventive care coverage. The app is extremely easy to use and manage and I recommend ASPCA Pet Health Insurance to anyone who is looking to keep an eye on the health of your pet.

Prompt service.
Promptness to interact with me. I scanned the claim and submitted it email. They sent me a quick response that it was not readable and gave me detailed instructions on how to resubmit the claim. I mailed the claim on submission #2. Within a few days I received an email stating the claim was being processed and within a few days from that email I received an email with documentation if the claim processed and notification it was being deposited into bank account. Very satisfied with service.

Disappointed
Do not send automated/ generated emails when checking on a pet. If this last claim I submitted was actually viewed you would know that I had to put down my dog, so it was very hurtful to receive an email asking how my dog is doing when she is no longer with me!

I’m always able to get the best care possible for my fur baby.
I never have to hesitate getting medical treatment for my dog. My fur baby that passed away this past June due to brain cancer received the best treatment we could get for her. It cost thousands and ASPCA reimbursed without any questions and hesitation. I know I could never get better pet insurance.

Best Thing I’ve Ever Done For My Dog!
My dog, Sam, has had health issues as a puppy and after the first ACL surgery in August 2017 at the age of 4, our vet recommended pet insurance for him. After doing some research and pricing comparisons, we decided to go with Nationwide. Best thing I’ve done for him! I’m not hesitant to take him to the vet (Sam would tell you otherwise!) knowing I have Nationwide in my corner.

Happy with the coverage amount
I feel that the insurance is expensive but it does cover 90% of all costs. It did not cover my dog’s dental cleaning (even tho I was specifically told it would) as they called it a pre-existing condition. Who gets their teeth clean because they are purely clean already? Everyone has tartar, etc. That was very costly. It also takes a long time for claims to be processed and paid.

Thank God for Embrace Pet Insurance
My 5 year old Dachshund who has been an Embrace Pet Insurance member for 3 coverage years. He uses his Wellness benefit yearly with his yearly checkups and flea and tick preventatives. On July 30, 2018 he had his first herniated disc. Rushed to Purdue University Small Animal Hospital 2 hrs away he had surgery the next day. His bill from his veterinarian as well as his $4700.00 bill from his surgery and hospitalization were uploaded (love that) and processed very quickly. Although there was a slight hiccup, after a discussion with Embrace phone representative and then claim supervisor the entire claim was handled. I was very impressed with their member service representative who was the epitome of a compassionate and caring person. The premiums are very reasonable as compared to Nationwide that they had previously. I am very glad I switched my Dachshunds over to Embrace!
