1 bad experience leaves a mark
I love trupanion, that's why I've been with you all these years with 3 different dogs. However, this time around isn't the stellar experience I usually have. Dalek went to the vet because he is sick. The vet was not able to figure out what was wrong and sent me to a specialist. I was still ok with that being considered as a new incident. However, when the specialist had to do additional tests as a continuation and was charged for that as a new claim, I wasn't too happy. I reached out to you guys and was told I need to jump through hops and make the specialist do extra work when you can just look at his treatment and see this is obviously a continuation. We are talking about only $50 for the deductible which was a huge deal for you guys. If we look back, there are checks I never deposited from trupanion that I could be reaching out to you guys about. There are other vets Dalek had gone to that I never submitted the claim for that I can come to you to cover. Such as an eye specialist just earlier this year that cost a pretty penny. I'm sure there are hundreds of dollars I can claim with trupanion but you guys made a stink over $50 during a very difficult year for Dalek and myself

Claim for my little dog Belle
Although there was a problem where I submitted my claim for medication for a condition that had long since had it's deductible paid and was at first told that I would get nothing back on the claim I submitted, once I appealed the claim was paid. Trupanion looked into this and found they were in error and quickly corrected it. That was good service.

Healthy Paws for peace of mind
Healthy Paws pet insurance has been a godsend. Our puppy recently had emergency surgery and was in the hospital for several nights. When all was said and done, the bill was over $4000. Healthy Paws paid 80% of her bill and our reimbursement was deposited into our account within 7 business days. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Their customer service is amazing and they have followed up several times to see how our puppy is doing. If you’re considering pet insurance, Healthy Paws is the way to go.

Best Pet Insurance on the market
We have had Healthy Paws for a couple of years for our 5 year old French Bulldog. He has had some minor issues from time to time and it has been easy and convenient to submit claims.
Recently he had some breathing issues and he had to go to ER. It was found he had some internal issues and would need surgery or he could potential die from lack of oxygen.
We scheduled the surgery and then submitted the invoice and details to Healthy Paws. After a quick review they reimbursed us for the covered portion of the procedure. This saved us thousands of dollars and allowed us to keep our beloved family member safe and healthy for a long time to come.
I cannot more highly recommended a pet insurance for your family pet.
