Thank you!

I can’t thank you enough for processing our claim so quickly. Ranger had to have an ACL done and 1 week after the surgery our claim was approved and we were reimbursed. They even sent an email to check on him. That’s what I call a caring pet insurance with excellent customer service! Thank you again.

Awesome job

I have nothing but great things to say about MetLife pet insurance. I have 6 dogs all insured with MetLife. It's easy to submit claims and they pay quickly even when the claim is large (TPLO surgery) and to date have approved all claims. I couldn't be happier with MetLife only wish I had signed up years ago.

Efficient process

I have come to rely on Trupanion's Customer Service for excellent service no matter the situation. Folks there are calm and well-informed so they can answer questions and process claims effectively. Their courtesy is seldom found among others in their line of work. Many cheers and thanks for handling the variety of questions and claims I have had so kindly and efficiently.

OUTSTANDING

Over three days at two separate critical care veterinary offices our dog required over $10,000 of tests and care after collapsing for no apparent reason. Fortunately, our sweet girl made it through the ordeal and is on the road to recovery. The emotional roller coaster was made so much easier knowing we had Healthy Paws insurance and could say “just do whatever is necessary” at every decision point. Within one business day after bringing our sweet girl home the 80% reimbursement was deposited in our checking account and a representative from Healthy Paws had reached out to see how she was doing. Outstanding!

Very easy and responsive

I’ve only filled 2 claims so far, but both times the process has been easier than i thought it would. I love that i’m able to answer all the questions in a texting format. the claims are always quickly responded to and i’ve had no issues so far.

Ridiculous Claim Process - Customer Service a JOKE

I submitted a claim on my female dog who had a one-off urinary tract infection. She had one 5 years ago (literally 5 years ago). Nothing since. She received anti-biotics and healthy as ever. She randomly got another infection 5 years later. These jerks DENIED my claim for treatment reimbursement claiming this was a pre-existing condition because she had an infection FIVE YEARS AGO! INSANITY! Its like me getting the flu this year, but my medical insurance denies my doctor visit reimbursement because I had the flu 5 years ago. This is scum bag stuff. On top of this, the customer service robots are unhelpful and read from scripts. Its like talking to an uneducated 10 year old. There is also NO WAY to reach ANY of the folks who "review your claims." So trying to talk or get an understanding from anyone, is completely impossible. RUN - STAY AWAY! If your dog stubs their toe 5 years ago, then stubs it again this year, they will claim that the stubbed toe is a pre-existing condition and not help pay for treatment! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!

Life Saver

Recently our beautiful Stella was hospitalized for possible toxic poisoning. Fortunately she survived this awful experience. I can't say enough about Healthy Paws and their stepping up to the plate and honoring our policy. It was quite a financial shock to say the least. They did everything they said they would do and did it in a timely manner. They are top notch. They even emailed me to check on our little girl. Thank you Healthy Paws !

Easy to work with

When my sweet dog reached 8 years old, she was diagnosed with Cushing's Disease, not only does this entail several blood work ups every year, but also a monthly medication that cost $90. I never had an issue submitting or being reimbursed for a claim. Metlife was always prompt with payment. When she was 10, I found out unexpectedly that she had an inoperable brain tumor. I chose to not have her suffer and had her put to sleep and cremated. The staff was so kind when I called with questions. I submitted the paperwork, and they did need additional paperwork, but they were prompt once I sent it. They were very understanding. I would definitely insure future pets through MetLife.

WORST INSURANCE COMPANY EVER, AND THAT IS SAYING SOMETHING

EXTREMELY DISHONEST COMPANY So far I am not impressed. I'm not sure who is writing reviews on line for them - all I have done is pay premiums and when I submitted my dog's wellness & vaccines this week it went into "being reviewed" status. Others say they pay same day, but that is not my experience. I am still waiting. I will update this if they ever pay (and obviously will be canceling the insurance & trying to figure out where to report them in my State if I don't hear back in a timely fashion). 2/5/24: Crickets. Still waiting. Not sure why these folks with cats are getting immediate payment. That has not been my experience in getting wellness covered for my dog. 2/7/24 - I will be turning this over to my husband, who is a corporate attorney. These jerks are not going to pay the claim unless forced. They haven't even looked at it. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND FIND OTHER COVERAGE.WOR
