The best - Pets Best!!
I have had insurance coverage through Pets Best for all 3 of my dogs for three years now, and thankfully have never had to file a claim until now. Prior to Pets Best, I had coverage through a different provider and I am happy to say that the claim process with Pets Best has far exceeded the claim process I have experienced with this previous provider! The process couldn't be made any easier! My dog recently came down with a bad case of Pancreatitis that landed him at the emergency vet hospital with a large unexpected bill. Within less than a week of submitting my claim online (which was super quick and easy with no headache involved - just uploaded my itemized invoice), Pets Best had already reimbursed me for the entire bill minus my deductible and co-pay with no questions asked. Even better, they did so through ACH instead of check which made it even faster. The full amount was in my account within 10 days of submitting the claim. I am so pleased with the service I have received with Pets Best and will be recommending them to everyone I know. From Oakley and I both, thank you Pets Best!

The WORST PET INSURANCE
I rarely write reviews, but if I can save even one person from making the mistake of buying Trupanion pet nsurance, then this was important for me to do.
Submitting claims is pretty easy, but that is literally THE ONLY POSITIVE thing about this insurance company. Buying Trupanion was a major mistake that we now can't get out of unless we cancel it and have no pet insurance. If we leave and go with another company, the next company wont pay for anything our dog was treated for before, and unfortunately one of the emergencies turned out to be an issue that our dog could potentially have a problem with down the road......so we stuck!
Trupanion will find every reason imaginable to not pay for your claim, and even when they do approve the claim, they pay such a small amount that it's absolutely ridiculous.
TRUST ME the consumer withbfirst hand knowledge, ....NOT the pet insurance company who just wants to make money off of you. They have found a way to pay about 1/16 of every emergency vet bill we have ever submitted.
SAVE YOUR MONEY and instead of paying $60-100 a month to a rip off insurance company like Trupanion, put that money into a separate savings account for pet emergencies.
I am telling you that Trupanion has to be one of the absolute worst pet insurance companies out there, yet they claim how much they care about your pet.
If you must get pet insurance for peace of mind, please go with a different company. I GUARANTEE you will regret if you choose Trupanion.
In a recent $413 emergency bill, they paid us $8. Why bother paying us anything. In prior emergency bills they also found all kinds of loopholes and excuses not to pay. IF OUR DOG GETS HIS EYE SCRATCHED ACCIDENTALLY AND HAS AN EXTREMELY PAINFUL CORNEAL ULCER THAT WILL MAKE HIM LOSE HIS EYE IF NOT TREATED.....A GOOD INSURANCE COMPANY SHOULD BE PAYING THAT BILL MINUS THE DEDUCTIBLE. Our last emergency bill was no different. They paid such a tiny amount and we have friends who have had the same experience
Please do not make the same mistake we did.
