Her major bladder surgery? Covered. Blood and urine tests? They got it. Prescription food? Discounted. On top of it all, the service is by far the best I've experienced anywhere. The few times I've had to call about an issue I've spoken to some of the friendliest and caring people I've ever cold-called. They are clearly pet lovers, and they fully understand just how much love I have for my furry friend. And the claim checks come extremely fast. The longest I've had to wait is a week, and most claims have come in just 3-4 days. They get you your money, and they get it to you quickly. I've recommended Trupanion to several friends and will continue to do so. It's peace of mind and great service coupled together.

When I signed up for ASPCA pet insurance for my puppy I did not think I would need it for anything other than the vaccines and simple vet visits in his first year, but was I wrong. Rocky developed a bacterial infection in his lungs and ASPCA paid 90% of the bill minus the annual $100 deductible very quickly. I was amazed at the speed and efficiency of their handling the claim. They even called me to check how Rocky was doing. I've had 4 dogs before and they all required hospitalization and I wish I had this insurance on them at those times! Thank you ASPCA for making this insurance available for our furry friends!

While we've only been members since the summer, my whole experience with Embrace has been nothing short of amazing. My 8 year old rat terrier was recently diagnosed with a very rare, incurable form of cancer and our worlds have been turned upside down. From the initial ICU visit, to a CT scan, to major surgery, Embrace has not once hesitated on any of the claims (several thousands of dollars so far), or questioned why certain diagnostics were done. I've spoken to several different Embracers there and everyone has been extremely helpful and sympathetic. Not having to worry about an insurance company putting in their two cents on what palliative treatments are deemed necessary for my pet is very refreshing. Dealing with cancer is hard enough but having Embrace makes the process a lot easier financially.

With all the statements about rates not being raised because of the dogs' age or the number of claims, I never expected to face a rate hike of this amount. Since you are committed once you have the insurance because of "existing conditions" preventing full coverage with someone else, take care before you insure with Trupanion.

Late this summer I was researching coverage plans for my new Great Dane puppy, as I have never insured a pet before. I called Embrace and spoke immediately and directly with Darcy Lindner, Embrace Contact Center Mgr. I appreciated the fact that I was able to speak with a real person and not go through mind-numbing and frustrating prompts. Darcy answered all of my questions and helped me tailor a plan that is both comprehensive and affordable. I have thankfully not had to use the accident and illness coverage, but have filed a number of wellness claims already, whereby you are fully reimbursed for wellness vet visits and things like vaccinations, and flea/tick and heartworm meds. The claims have been processed quickly and the checks mailed to me within days. Underwriters Christine Markulis and Cassie Vasco have completed those claims both promptly and efficiently. I have also encountered other members of the Embrace family, namely Mike Lambert and Laura Bennett, who have helped me navigate the logistics of this process as well. I can't speak highly enough about the staff, and I feel like they are different than other insurance companies in that they truly care about my dog and me and want to see us get exactly what we need. I highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking to insure their furry family members.
